Digi's play last week. Well they could have done it if they just concentrate on mid.

Enchantres still one of the fearcest hero EARLY game..

nice game, lancer was farming so long and did nothing then with his low hp but i have big doubts such push would work against pro teams

#9 dont think so, they had a lot of spells against push and they got more farm so with warlock/rhasta ultimetas scourge could hanlde just mid push under two towers left, but push from both lanes (power creeps mid and rest of forces bot) was more effective, and scourge couldnt win even with much more farmed heroes with two lanes down

Notice that mode is CD not CM so they copied this strat from asians within the drafted pool of random heroes.

#14 if you analyzed it carefully, scourge AOE wont matter that much cause they wont hit lvl 6 that fast...

the reason why the game got prolonged is that. sentinel shift to bottom lane giving scourge more levels.. If they just concentrate on mid like Digi did in their game with SOS, razta cant use his ward cause he wont reach lvl 6. After the rax will be down, creeeps will be more stronger than scourge hero lol..

Yeah this was done last week or the week before. But this was -cd. Random pool of heroes and they pulled it off. And again this was -cd so it was brilliant of Lacoste to pick this strat since two of the heroes you would use to counter push strats (pit lord, zombie) are not in the pool.

It was pretty retarded that no one helped mid till 3rd tower. And it was a mistake to go Bot. They could have finished it within 10mins.

They didn't make it look as easy. This could have easily backfired on them. I mean swiss was free farming the whole time. SF got some levels on them farming bot so that could easily fuck up their push. Not to mention if tiny got to level 8 he could wipe out all the creeps with his 2 skills. And bane should've gone Vlads first.

Am i the onlyone who believes that we just witnessed a prove of how imbalanced dota still is????DOTA IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE PLAYED THAT WAY.When i played my first dota game the question i did to my cousin was <<why not go all mid>>.If this <<pick 5 pushers ang go om>> works in more important matches then all this theorycrafting and all these carry,semi-carry-ganker-supporter is just bullshit.I hopoe not
THIS GAME IS THE CANCER OF DOTA(at least imo)/

#23 obviously i am not as clever as you but how is this so easily countered.Scourge picks all aoe heroes (tiny,sf,rhasta with ulty and ether shock ,pl with rad and still they fail).Anyway everyone has his opinions but less insults would be fine.......

When u see that pick + the digi replay it s easily countered by putting 3 strong hero mid, but they had hero who needed lvl too make somethin (sf, rasta, wl, tiny) if scourge picked veno over one of their last pick senti would ve been screwed imo.

But so funny game to watch (and even more to play ;) )

a pitlord or a pugna will screw any push strat upside down. more so 5 lvl 1 all mid strat.

its just that this is -CD and the nature of "random pool" makes the game not 100 percent balanced. And icefrog attempt to balance dota around -CM anyway. so yea dont overreact and says that because of 1 or 2 games that DOTA is not balanced.

and this is alternate picking so you cant say "pick 5 pushers and all mid go go" because the opponent might just pick some of the pushers themselves. just that in this case they didnt.

should be playmate vs swiss since lacoste only did shit in this game (farming woods instead of pushing mid at start, going top to farm, suicideing chicken, not taking scourge creep with enchant, and let the possibility to the scourge to pick veno while they would never have picked leshrac) (+nearly giving firsblood to sf)

Sure this is a copy the Rdigi game but to their credit this was done against anti-push heroes like sf, tiny, rhasta and not against noobs too.

Now the more serious question is whether a reasonably decent team can prevent a pro team from doing this if they figure out the strategy till last 2-3 picks. Just wondering after these 2 games!

Its just a cd.
Its easily counterable in a cm game and also this strategy needs great coordination to succed.

Btw i believe DotA (cm) is really balanced on the last versions..you can tell that from the extended pool of viable heros in contrast to oldest versions.

I've seen several replay with Roshan lvl 1 but i cant remember specifically witch ones.

Anyway you can always search on google "roshan lvl 1 dota replay" or watch it on youtube.

rofl, I like how some of you seriously believe a 5-man mid push strat would be imbalanced by watching a -cd DP game.
Also it's totally obvious if you would ban heroes like Pitlord in a cm game.

Am I the only one that thinks sent were lucky to win this? Bad teamwork is bad. From both sides. They had wards and infernal by the time sent came for the second rax. They had a full raze nevermore and a full combo tiny. They should have been able to hold it. Swiss farms a vanguard and its over for them. Sent took too much time and didnt pressure their opponents enough. Warlock stayed in his lane until the second tower was gone. I mean wtf was he thinking? Babysitting pl from creeps? Scourge got sprouted endless times but no one with tangoes? Full of fail. Sent lucky this time around to win.
