After years of sponsoring numerous teams, ROCCAT in 2014 began fielding its own League of Legends team.
ROCCAT is "no longer sponsoring a League of Legends team exclusively but supporting gamers around the world, regardless of their game or genre," the company said in its Facebook post.
This year, Team ROCCAT finished sixth in the European LCS spring split and seventh in the EU LCS summer split.
The EU LCS announced a format change for 2019 in which organizer Riot Games will select 10 long-term franchises as permanent partners of the league, as opposed to gameplay determining tournament participation and relegation.
