CS:GO News Week in Review: August 15th



fnatic trades with Godsent

The three-time major winning team has been suddenly pulled apart this week with the joint announcement from Fnatic and Godsent that the two rosters will be exchanging three players. Freddy "KRIMZ" Johansson, Jesper "JW" Wecksell and Robin "flusha" Rönnquist will all move to join back up with their former in-game leader, Markus "pronax" Wallsten, who departed the team earlier in the year to form Godsent. 

allu replaces fox in FaZe

Another high ranking team underwent changes this week as well, with FaZe Clan bringing in Aleksi "allu" Jalli to take up the AWPing role in FaZe in the place of Ricardo "fox" Pacheco, who will be joining Mikail "Maikelele" Bill as a inactive member of the team. The team suffered a number of disappointing results in recent months, notably going out in groups at the most recent major, ESL One Cologne.

SKYLLA August announced

SKYLLA July concluded at the end of last month with eSuba securing both the title and the $1,500 first place prize, and now following the end of the August qualifiers this week, the main portion of this month's cup is ready to begin. MoeycQ takes break from pro play

The Australian Chiefs have been struggling as of late to keep a full five man roster, and it has only gotten worse for the team following this week's announcement that one of their remaining players, Mohammed "MoeycQ" Tizani, will be taking a extended hiatus from competitive play in order to spend more time with his family after the birth of his child.
