RONIN and AGG qualified for their respective Developmental Leagues, to be joined by three other qualifiers and four other invites.
The winners of the open qualifiers will join four unannounced invited teams in what ECS dubbed Developmental Leagues for each region. The league will begin on September 9 and will feature typical BO2 league format. The top two sides in each region’s league will continue onto high-stakes promotion matches against the bottom two teams from each region’s respective ECS Season 1 league (EchoFox and Kaliber in NA, Navi and Dignitas for EU). The winners of these matches will qualify for ECS Season 2.
