SG-1 is the latest King of the Watch. But they will be challenged for the first time this week, by one of the two invited Challengers.
King of the Watch is one of the longest running tournament series that Overwatch has, and plenty of top teams have held the title of King of the Watch. SG-1 is the latest team with that honor, but they have not been rightfully challenged yet. This will change later today, as they play a Bo7 against the winner of the following match:
Mada Mada and Crusuhdude have been invited as two promising up-and-comers, and they will be playing a Bo3 not only to make it to the Final Series against SG-1, but also for the chance to get their name out there. This match will be a close one no doubt, but it's yet to be seen if they can hurt the experienced SG-1.
Rules
- Stopwatch
- All maps are allowed.
- The loser of a map picks the next map.
- Two challenger teams will play in a Best of 3 (Bo3) series, in order to proceed to a Best of 7 (Bo7) match with the current champion.
Prize
- $300 for the winning team.
- Bragging rights as King of the Watch.
