| I just wonder what is all the fuss that deity are a second - tire team for losing to SB and AlienwareDG ? At the top level of competitive dota, everyteam can lose due to bunch of problems, so why Deity must win all the time when EHOME/LGD can get f**ked up and still being worshipped ? Be fair plz. |
| I'm pretty sure that if Deity play another 10 games with Nv.cn, they will lost 10 games in row. Even in China, there's no doubt that only 3 teams can be considered as 'top team'--Lgd, Nv.cn, Ehome. Once China hold a draw with Brazil in football, so what? Whatever in long-term perfomance or players' strength, classifying Deity into tier 2 teams is a praise for them. In a recent survey, less than 5% of respondents said he or she was a big fan of Deity. |
| They've just won Nv.cn twice in official matches, one in ACG qualifier and this one in IEM. Obviously, what you are "pretty sure" is proven wrong. Fan base is an important part, but that is not all to judge a team level. Most of the dota players out there always jump in the bandwagon and fantasize abt some players without a solid reason. Take Loda for example, has he ever been successful or consistent in performance for a long time ? For 4 years of playing DotA, he can only got like 3 championships, so why he has so many fans ? Next time, when you voice your opinion so confidently, please provide an acceptable reason. A team which has beaten EHOME, LGD and Nv.cn to won several championships in just one year are still considered "2nd tier" ? Give me a break. |
| you say my arguments are fallacious yet you argue that reputation comes with quality? that's probably the most common fallacy there is otherwise i feel like you just talk a lot without going anywhere (i have a hunch you play tdas or something to that effect... that stupid 'art' description was bullshit) so i will stop arguing. so bit of advice to you, walls of text can impress those who read by only scratching the surface (ie the billions of people who don't speak much english here) but more words does not magically add insight to your posts have fun |
| Courageous picks by Deity were rewarded in this one. Enigma, Silencer + Lich made great use of their ultimates. Nice textbook morph with 2x Rampage : ). I've come to think that Deity lacks consistency from what i can tell from the replays i've watched but in this one they showed their great potential. |
