| Doesn't deserve a RR imo. Gank style a lot more entertaining. EU turtle = Chinese active gank.... Ok farming owns, but icefrog should nerf it (echo to drayich about magic stick and dusa plz) Farming isn't interesting to watch. A medusa with 2DR raping a team neither. GOGO EU, plz save dota ! ! |
| You wouldn't find these games boring if you understand DotA a tad bit more. Do you guys really think that DotA is all about K/D/A? Its about teamwork, map awareness, effective ganking/farming, position in fights etc. But meh, most of you haters prove by your comments that you are random garena/bnet pubbers who does not understand horse sh*t. The level of gameplay in these games is the best you can get to see in this world, just enjoy that and learn from it. And if you find Drow's/Medusa's farming than their are 8 other heroes too in the game (just friggin' check out the bottom tri lane). Or just don't dl these replays if you think its boring, nobody gives a sh*t. Don't give this shit about us, EU has gank style and all, it doesn't really matter.. but for the record, just watch those rapes of DTS, Nv.USA, LOST etc. by EHOME, all of them picked mass carries whereas EHOME picked only one hard carry in every game and still raped them all < 30 mins but vs. equally skilled teams, they have to play defensive in order to win. #201 Yeah man! FIFA should not organize another world cup because most of the Quarter final/Semi final matches were boring as shit and defensive, and the final was the most boring of them all, we need 20 goals per game action! </sarcasm> (try comparing dota and football in context of a game not in context of their mechanics) Lastly, you high or something? | #202 Firstly, excuse my poor english. I know that these guys got the VICTORY play style... but not the entertaining one, you didn't find the point of my post. If icefrog can highlight the ganking style to make it the best way to victory, we can have both entertainment and map comprehension. EHOME at ESWC shows everything: rape all the time, and always borring games. I am not speaking about what is better to win a game, but what is better to make the games more enjoyable... Is dota entertaining because you WIN? The way to victory is the entertainment. And i prefer this way with many kills and action which shows skill, map awareness and so on, rather than a way based on farming and supporting: it shows how to play to grab victory, but it is borring. This is just a call between others to make the map more gank-oriented (it means that the carry play-style will have equal win chance with gank style), and in this way Icefrog will put gank and carrying together. Nowadays, it is like soccer without the offside rule! Something missing to balance the game ! What are you saying about fifa world cup? i didn't say anything about it ! Ah maybe you found the FIFA world cup borring because no goals... Maybe because you consider goals like "kills" but actually they are more like "tower destroyed", since to win you need in soccer to score goals, and in dota to destroy towers. Kills are on the way and that's all. Ok, in the context of the magic stick drayich said that the "mass carry" play style is frustrating, almost "imba". He said that after a game against a medusa, which was perma-ganked by drayich's jugger but still managed to own later. Magic stick is very good for carries too, because it can add you 225 hp when ganked for a very cheap cost. And it is very frustrating for the gankers. And keep your manners please. Sarcasm isn't helpful, as well as critizising a point you misunderstood. Have a nice day. |

| @202... Well put and i agree that farming style like this is boring to watch but takes some skill in this case where dusa actually had to farm damn hard to overcome her biggest foe which is drow... Both teams very careful play and drow was dissapointing coz they never tried to pawn the dusa when they knew they had the advantage. RR still coz of the epic comeback by dusa. WP ZMSJ |

| if dusa was so imba, how come she only won 2 games and lost 3? and much more other games. discuss. if you play the game itself, you wouldn't find it boring coz it's fucking intense. one mistake can cost them the game. but kids like you won't understand this. |

This game has a kill ratio per minute < 1, and after 30 min all we can see is dusa and trax farming while their mates take care of them, ignoring the other team. Where is the "intensity"? I know it is the way to victory, and i am sure that against a gank-style team this would be interesting since the 3-4 supporters will have to bravely defend their carry (medusa or drow). But in this game, both are farming. I watched 20 min during which nothing happenned, exepted some roshans, and only the final fights are interesting (i liked the fight between medusa and drow which took almost 1 min). Maybe it is some "dota philosophy": it isn't a strategy analysis, i am not explaining dota, i am just thinking of a better dota. A dota in which gank style would be highlighted, because ganking is more entertaining, and then both skill and entertainement would be put together. About #218, i never said this team were bad, i don't even put a doubt about their domination. You obvously didn't understand me so what are you saying? I am not speaking about what they CAN do (ganking) but about what they actually DO (60 min borring-free-farm). Skill is here (position of supporters etc...) but it is borring. Nowadays, skill and entertainment are impossible to reach together at their perfect. Once again sorry for my poor english. Hope you understood what i mean I gave 7/10 to this replay, because i still give the top mark to skill. Not 10/10 because borring: it is like school isn't it? |
| can some people who say cn dota is boring just not watch the game ? if you see 2 cn team play you know it will get to the framfest if you wanna gankfest just watch the so call the EURO gank i see a lot of rape fest in ESWC 2010 when ehome rape all Euro like noobs!!! | #221 Want my opinion? EHOME ruined ESWC. Their 9 games were borring to watch. They deserve their victory by.... far, but as Loda says: "they take it too much serious": not the same category: amateur vs professionnal. And the profesionnal playstyle is freakingly borring. If only it could be interesting... it mean a rework of dota itself, reliable vs unreliable gold is the first step congratulation icefrog, who understood this. |
| #223 Many people believe that the unreliable gold is a buff to roamers, but it's not, it's actually a heavy buff to carries that CAN'T die as well. These carries include Medusa, Morph... Medusa especially will have a massive buff because she won't be losing her unreliable gold any time soon. |
| I haven't seen a pro replay like this for a long time... after read previous comment, not all of us are like/ agree and they have their honest opinion. So, doesn't matter... it's no use arguing why they don't like, etc, etc... instead-how anyone enjoy it.. because every person have their own unique and different perspective. And one thing i realize, this is dotA... they make their own history. Why don't you make the fun one if you said this is a boring game? |

I don't give a shit about EU or CN but it's obvious, the game design is flawed (or favours turtling) and EU is not adapting, so they will just keep losing until they learn, or the game is rebalanced. Now you EU fanboys stop whinging about CN teams, they played really well. |

And it is just my opinion. #224 Reliable gold is the ganker's gold: when they fail a gank and die, or get ganked or die in a team fight, they don't lose this gold because ti comes from the heroes they killed. Whereas carries take their gold from creeps mostly, and this gold can be lost. That's why i think reliable and unreliable gold is a bonus for gankers. |
