Allu in trials with Liquid

Recently, NiP revealed that their star AWP Aleksi "allu" Jalli would be stepping down from the team; this week the Finnish star revealed that he has begun trials with Team Liquid, who have swapped him in for Jacob "FugLy" Medina temporarily as they work to restructure the team for optimal performance.

Spray nerfs reverted

Valve decided to roll back changes made to rifle spray inaccuracy this week, as well as reverting the nerfs made to the moving pistol inaccuracy. The changes come after a massive outcry from the community over the the fact that the changes introduced lowered the skill ceiling of the guns. For more details, read our full patch news here.

FNS out of Counter Logic Gaming

CLG made a suprising roster change this week with the announcement that the team's longtime in-game leader Pujan "FNS" Mehta has been removed from the lineup. Read a small excerpt of CLG's full statement below:

We’re also announcing today that Pujan “FNS” Mehta is stepping down. We’ll do everything we can do ensure a smooth transition to competitive play in another organization for him. We truly wish him well. His attitude is fantastic despite the rough patch the team has encountered.

Dreamhack Leipzig invites revealed

Dreamhack Leipzig is just a month away, and in preparation the prganization has announced another set of invites this week, this time being Virtus.Pro and Luminosity Gaming. This brings the total invites up to six, leaving two more slots for the final invites.

Denial eSports disbands

Another major North American shift happened this week with announcement by Denial eSports that they have disbanded after narrowly missing their chance to make it into ESEA's professional division in relegation match against Winterfox.
