Fnatic, Gamers2, Bob? and Spartanien form Group C to be played this Wednesday at 18:00 CEST.
Two more teams will advance to the Enter the Storm 3 finals as Group C draws near, and its line-up is an eye-catcher, featuring three teams in the GosuGamers EU top 5 rankings.
Gamers2 are coming in as the big favorites, being the Enter the Storm 2 runner-ups. The Poles had a great summer season and were long considered Liquid’s number one opponents in Europe but the loss of Adrian “adrd” Wojcik in July stripped away some of their power. Opening Group C with a match against Team Spartanien and fighting for one of the previous playoff spots will be Gamers2 chance to get back on the winning track.
The other opening match is between Fnatic and Bob who are competing neck and neck for a spot in the top 10 world rankings. Attending – and winning – multiple open tournaments, Fnatic are on a ten-game win-streak but Bob are no less worthy of an opponent. Their recent run through the BlizzCon European Open #2 left them second only to Team Liquid and victorious over decorated teams like VP, Games2 and Na`Vi. A rising name to watch, Bob are coming in from the open qualifiers to write their first big success story.
The matches will begin this Wednesday at 18:00 CEST and will be casted as usual by Thomas “Khaldor” Kilian on twitch.tv/khaldor. Group D with VP, MYM, Puszek and PiP will follow two days later, on September 4th and will wrap up the playoffs line-up, which in turn shall take place September 11-13.
