Fnatic welcomes Viktor "vuggo“ Jendeby as a new coach

After Jonatan "Devilwalk" Lundberg stepped back, vuggo will take his place as the new head coach of Fnatic.

Right before the Fragbite Masters Season 4 Finals and DreamHack Summer 2015, Fnatic announced a new head coach on their website on July 5th. Viktor "vuggo" Jendeby is known by the players of fnatic because of his work as an analyst for Katowice earlier this year. With the new coach, Fnatic wants to defend their titles from the last year.

Viktor "vuggo" Jendeby about his new position:

I didn’t hesitate for a second when Patrik approached me regarding the Head Coach position. Fnatic has always been the team closest to my heart and I remember cheering for the team in my early eSports years when they boasted the likes of diGitaL and zaffe. I go way back with some of the players and I’m eager to begin working with them full-time in the pursuit of establishing ourselves as the sole number one team in the world. I know filling the shoes of Devilwalk will be tough, but I'm up for the challenge and I’m confident that this will be a great year for Fnatic.

Roin "flusha" Rönnequist about his new coach:

I’m really happy to see vuggo join us as a coach. Everyone on the team has known him for a long time and fully supports the decision to bring him on board. I believe he will help us improve in a number of different ways, from analyzing our opponents to helping us improve our communication in-game. We had the opportunity to work with him during Katowice this year and had the pleasure of seeing his dedication and passion first hand.
