ESWC female CS:GO tournament to feature a 15,000 USD prize pool and eight teams, including the title defenders, 3DMAX.
A month ago ESWC announced that this year's edition of ESWC will be moved from France to Canada. Montreal will act as a host of this event which will feature two tournaments, a regular CS:GO tournament and a female CS:GO tournament.
Today, the first details about female tournament were revealed. The tournament's prize pool is set to $15,000, where we will be able to see a total of eight teams fighting for the lion's share of it. The title defenders, 3DMAX, were directly invited to the event, while the rest of the teams are yet to be announced. The four spots will be filled with the teams coming from the qualifiers, 2 from Europe and 2 from North America, while the last three spots are reserved for the teams which submit the application form on ESWC's website.
The qualifiers will be hosted by CEVO and the entire qualifying process is being held online with the start date of May 12th and ending date set on June 28th. More details on qualifiers are yet to be announced, but all teams who wish to take participation at those can submit their application at this link.
