TSM have secured a spot in the grand finals of the CCS LAN following a 2-0 victory over NiP.

The BO3 upper bracket finals saw NiP facing Team SoloMid, with TSM banning de_cobblestone and choosing de_inferno as the first map. NiP then banned de_overpass and chose de_dust2 as the second map, and the final map came down to de_cache if needed.

de_inferno saw NiP winning the knife round a starting on the more favoured CT side, where they even managed to win the first pistol round. However, TSM quickly cameback by somehow winning a full save eco round, bringing the score tied at 1-1. It was full speed ahead for the Danish team as they managed to secure 5 more rounds in a row before NiP finally managed to get 1, bringing the score to 6-2. Unfortunately, the Swedes were not able to gain any momentum from this, as they lost the next round, completely resetting the economy. TSM were easily able to secure the next anti-eco round, and eventually closed off the half in a dominant 11-4 scoreline.
The second half saw TSM securing the pistol round as one more following round, bringing the score dangerously close to victory at 13-4. However, this was when NiP began to mount a comeback, securing 7 rounds in a row before TSM finally managed to secure one, bringing the score to 14-11. However, NiP managed to secure the next round and completely break TSM's economy. The next round saw a full eco buy by TSM, where they actually managed to salvage thanks to multiple opening kills by dupreeh and cajunb. It was match point at 15-12, and at the end it was GeT_RiGhT in a 1v2 situation, where he was unable to clutch as TSM took de_inferno 16-12.
Map 2 was de_dust2, where things looked much better for the Swedish side this time. Here, they started on the CT side, managing to grab 10 rounds on their first half compared to TSM's 5. However, an eBot failure created a nearly hour long pause for both teams, completely crushing NiP's momentum. While they were able to extend their lead to 13-5, that was almost all they could accomplish as TSM began to mount round after round, eventually winning the game without an overtime at 16-14.
TSM will now wait at the grand finals for their opponent, while NiP will have to face Fnatic in the lower bracket finals if they want to have a spot in the grand finals.
