Dreamhack announces groups, streams and a full schedule

Dreamhack Summer CS:GO 2014 will take place from June 14th to June 16th. The format of the main event includes group phase and playoffs, where each group consists of four teams. Groups A & B will be played out on Saturday, C & D on Sunday and the playoffs including the Grand Finals will conclude on Monday. The prize pool is set to $30,000.

Two days before the event, Dreamhack released a full schedule. Anders Blume and Auguste ‘Semmler’ Massonat from NiPTV, and Duncan ‘Thorin’ Shields and Tomi 'lurppis' Kovanen will provide the English commentary. The map pool will be five most common maps in the game: de_dust2, de_mirage, de_train, de_inferno and de_nuke.

The group stage will begin on Saturday, 14th June at 15:00 CEST, whereas the second day is scheduled to start also at 15:00 CEST.

Playoffs are set to 10:00 CEST, while the Grand Final is once more scheduled for 22:00 CEST on day three.

The speculations about TEAMGLOBAL's participation at Dreamhack have come to an end. The Swedes confirmed that they've pulled out from the event due problems with the roster, where Freddy "krimz" Johansson's departure left the team with only four players. This means that one additional team will be brought in from the BYOC qualifier, which makes it three in total (Twelve teams were invited, two were qualified for the event and the last two spots are saved for the on-site BYOC qualifier). BYOC stands for Bring Your Own Computer and the on-site qualifiers are held June 14, the first day of Dreamhack.

GosuGamers will provide online coverage for the event. A full schedule, groups and streams can be located by visiting the match pages. In additional, we're also providing a non-money betting system, where everyone starts with 50 units of currency and is able to place it into many different bets, with odds for each team.
