| the team sGty isn't a well-known team outside of China, when they're up against one of the best in the world, Ks, they simply played the safest way - turtle and farm up. Even losing a sacred relic won't stop this PL. The game is definitely boring to watch, i agree. But you got to understand, these sGty guys flew to malaysia not just so that they can play an entertaining game and pave the way for Ks to the finals. Their ultimate goal is to win afterall... and not to play to entertain. They simply play what they know best and if that wins the game, it's good. It's just like how ks.int never gave up on ganking even when the versions have changed, and while i love their games, they weren't achieving towards the end of their times. and #18, if you were to play in SMM and if you were to be crowned the champion, i'm sure u'd love it so much you don't mind playing 10 80mins game =P |

| Why did they turtle you ask? Just be at a Lan event and you can feel the anxiety of players with all the shouts from commentators and audiences. If you make 1 wrong decision and it costs the game, you will carry all the blame. Do you know how streesfull it is? Seriously this game is not bad if you are at SMM and feel the atmosphere. And putting more gold or cd for buyback will never work for lan event. Players will get even more cautious when they make decisions. They are top players and they can beat European team because they are realistic. They want the safest play to get the trophy for their countries and prize money for themselves, so be it. |
| Both games I watched live, this one and the winner bracket final, turned out to be pretty boring games. Sad that this method of playing wins games. Not that I discount their skill - if ganking was easier to own with, they'd probably do it. But still this was no tournament for spectators in the last 8 games or so. |
