Group A done, Fnatic gets the better of ONE

Wednesday night means crunch time for both Fnatic and ONE. The last two remaining teams in Group A duke it out to see who gets to join Na'Vi in LAN finals and who gets to unpack their suitcases.

Over the past two days we saw Na'Vi take reign over their group, whereas their presumed biggest rival in the group, Fnatic, struggled time and time again to find those clear victories. ONE, coming from a 2-0 win over 4FC themselves, are probably hoping to find Fnatic with the recklessness and lack of focus they displayed in their earlier matches.

Fnatic vs ONE: Fnatic step it up

The team around Era showed a great display of versatility when they decided to face ONE's Dragon Knight in mid with a Bounty Hunter, moving their own Queen of Pain to the rather unconventional off-lane. She stood her ground against the trilane around GordaNN's Ursa, making for a fairly even early game. A team wipe at around 15 minutes gave Fnatic a head start into the rest of the game, lead by H4nn1's outstanding performance on Queen of Pain (17/3/9). It was his split push that eventually spelled doom for ONE after 35 minutes.

In Game 2, ONE were off to a seemingly good start when their Morphling found decent farm. Their Timbersaw, however, got the short end of the stick in his lane, being effectively denied all farm. Fnatic's better team fight potential was complemented by an excellent use of their Tinker-Chen combo, allowing them to take the lead as well as letting Era go beyond godlike on his Lifestealer. The edge Fnatic had at this point resulted in a 35 minute "gg."

The RaidCall EMS One continues two weeks from now on October 15th with Group B, featuring Alliance, Flip.Sid3, Menace and aAa.
