The Ro32 of Code S ended with another killer group. Some of the best Korean SC2 talents stepped in the booths, promising a show like no other.

South Korea Kyrix vs South Korea Inca @ Terminus

Inca tried to cannon rush Kyrix but everything went bad for him - he lost his initial probe before it got the chance to put down a cannon, his zealot got surrounded and when the rush was over his front wall got breached by lings, scouting everything they needed to. Few minutes later Inca had, as Artosis pointed out, fewer supply than Kyrix had drones and when the maxed zerg roach/hydra army swarmed in, a gg was in order.

Inca is in trouble

South Korea Bomber vs South Korea MC @ Metalopolis

Bomber's banshee hit a sleek timing window before an observer could pop out, killing two sentries and severely weakening the protoss army. Bomber followed that with a beautiful rush with banshee/tank/rine army supported by a raven. MC had two immortals out and threw down some very good force fields but as he failed to target the tanks with his immortals in time, Bomber managed to pick them off relatively quickly, climb the ramp and win the game.

Two immortals would be more than enough to crush this attack, but slight micro mistake by MC turned the tides of the battle to terran's favour

South Korea Inca vs South Korea MC @ Xel'Naga Caverns

The peculiarity in this game began as MC opened 1-gate robo, adding two more gates along the way - a very dangerous build especially when playing against a 4-gate. Fortunately for MC, he managed to get an immortal out just as Inca's attack would launch and the two-times GSL champion snatched a moment of peace, using it to transition into blink stalkers.
On the other end of the map, Inca also threw down a council but chose charge as his tech of choice. He started warping in zealots at the centre right expansion but was caught off-guard as MC moved out, catching three stalkers and engaging Inca's army from two opposite sides. Being forced to split his attention between two fronts, Inca faced defeat despite the large chargelot count that was in his possession.

It's a TRAP!

South Korea Kyrix vs South Korea Bomber @ Crossfire

Bomber opened with 2-rax pressure and killed down two drones with his initial marines but had to halt for a while as lings popped out. However, he was not done with the aggression, and added two more barracks and a CC along the way. Kyrix was soon under pressure again as the large marine count streamed in, taking the lives of many drones, two queens and a spine crawler. Kyrix barely defended and smartly transitioned into high-econ baneling aggression - by that time his best chance of coming back. He morphed a ton of banes and rolled through Bomber's wall-off, heading straight for the SCVs but a perfect targeting by the siege tanks caused the death of all the zerg units. Kyrix had to start remaking his army anew but time ran out for him as Bomber quickly moved out for the counter attack and won the game.

Kyrix sourly ascertains that there are siege tanks at the high ground

South Korea MC vs South Korea Kyrix @ Crevasse

MC opened stargate expand and waited for three void rays before he went on to pressure the zerg, who opened with a fast third and an early lair. After just a few seconds, Kyrix lost both his queens, his evo chamber, his inner expansion and a buttload of hydralisks as MC flew from base to base, now streaming in phoenixes to support his void rays. Even though Kyrix managed to repel the air terror, a stalker/colossi follow-up by MC put an end to the match, sending the Kratos protoss straight to the Ro16.

Those hydras would not stay alive for much too long
