mouz.Gnollman talks WC3L and NGL-ONE

Mousesports managed to requalify to the WC3L season, shouldn't you have been so it would have been a shame. How important is taking part in WC3L for a top team like Mouz?
- It's very important! If you aren't in the WC3L, then you don't belong to the world's top teams. It's important for the partners and sponsors also because they see that we compete with the best and also sometimes manage to beat them.

Should you have failed to qualify for WC3L there would still be NGL-ONE. If you would compare the two leagues - which is the best, and why?
- The WC3L has more prestige and is much older. Also I think the WC3L is the league which shows better how skilled a clan is. If one NGL Two clan would get Moon for example, they would probably win half of the clanwars only because of his performance while in WC3L it's only one point and the whole team has to perform well. Even though the WC3L clanwars sometimes take several hours, I like it more. It's more exciting to see how the lineup worked out and so on.

Will we see the new Chinese players of Mousesports play in WC3L? If so, which players in the 'international' squad will have to step aside?
- To be honest, I can't really answer this question. We have to see how the Chinese players develop and if they are ready to take down the very best players in the world (who nearly all play in the WC3L). If one of them would play, we'd have to see the maps, the enemy (races of them) and if one of our players is busy with a tournament or something. This would decide who has to step aside. Nobody of our five players (SaSe, TitaN, Fly, Happy, HasuObs) is clearly in every lineup. Means I won't say "Okay, if one Chinese player, either SaSe or Happy won't play". It would really depend on the shape, maps and so on. There is no black sheep who has to go aside if someone comes in.

Many see SaSe as the optimal replacement after Creolophus in 4Kings. How would SaSe's switch to another team affect Mousesports?
- Well, this wont happen. But you wanna hear the "if" i guess: We would have to check for additions. He is a very strong player and not easy to replace. We'd have to check the market... There are strong players in "weaker" teams like WE.LiiLD.C or Colorful.Lyc for example but as I said before, we dont have to replace him.

Mousesports qualified for the NGL-ONE offline finals, what do you think of your chances against the other teams taking part?
- Now we try our very best to get all players to the finals. Three of our five players need a visa and I really hope everyone can come. Happy finally is 16, so he can leave Russia and he already applied for his visa and cares much about it. He really wants to come. Same for the others, though it's harder for TitaN to apply for it because he doesn't live in Moscow.

But, an organization which cooperates with the ESL will do it for the Russian members. If all of our players can come and I think the chances aren't bad, then I think we will see very though matches. Fly SaSe TitaN and Happy would most probably the lineup (Hasu is very good but those four seem to be stronger). And we saw at StarsWar what damage Fly and SaSe can do in this NGL One system (e.g. Fly beating whole MYM members and SaSe killed Moon). Our Russians perform better in LAN as well, and even though they aren't experienced like Grubby or so but it will definitely be close clanwars. We are the underdog against 4K and MYM but we will see... They wont beat us easily!

First up in your road to the finals you will face ButterFly Gaming. What is your take on the outcome of that clanwar?
- I think BFly is one of the weaker teams in the WC3L which means we have to beat them to have a shot to the playoffs. There will be so many teams that fight for the Top 6 that those points have to be ours. If we fail against teams like BFly or WE.eu, we wont have a chance to get into the Top 6.
