Strelok switches from xLo to aAa

[s]clan_news[/s]

Strelok, the Ukrainian Terran player, has been doing well here and there, first with TMG, after that with BossClub who after a while moved from the organization and changed name to Excello. Now he decided to move on to the French multi gaming clan Against All Authority, aAa.

We first met Strelok in the Fragbet league, when he defeated the Templars of Twilight players Squall, Xiaozi, Mondragon and Daze all by himself. He's been doing well in most of the European clan leagues and also in the individual games. In short terms; he's been doing good for the last couple of months.

About leaving xLo. and joining aAa

When asked about the old xLo team, he chose his words very carefully. He doesn’t want to speak bad about his old team in any way, as they did play a lot together and have become good friends. Though it was an argument who made him think again and finally leave xLo for good.
- Yes, I left xLo due to a complex of reasons and it ended with a rather angry and nervous talk with Bartar on Friday. He also says that almost all the xLo players were very nice.
- I still talk to my xLo friends much =)

More players to aAa soon?

The new team aAa is French based, and their StarCraft roster is very new if you compare it to the Counter-Strike or WarCraft 3 ones. They have recruited some nice players, many of them known to us already, and apparently soon they'll be two more.
- Our leader is Rest, and the players: Sarens, Tuzer, Bundy, Clawson and now me =) But we expect 2 more players soon. Rest said one player will be from China and the other one is from USA/Latin America but nothing is for sure yet.

"aAa has a very good reputation[...]"

Apparently Strelok got the joining offer even before he left xLo, but didn’t really gave it a serious thought until the argument with Bartar. Even if he haven’t played much with his new team yet he still feels like it's a good thing that he joined and that it'll work out well.
- aAa has a very good reputation as far as I know and I also liked the fact Rest explained to me fully what he wants from me and what I can expect from the team.

Everyone knows that xLo put a lot of time and effort into the big European clan leagues, and Strelok says he's tired of all the clan wars, that's what he likes so much about aAa. He tells us that they focus a lot more on the players individual results than the teams itself.

ESL Failure - "I have to change my TvP"

So where will we see Strelok from now on, you might wonder. If not in the clan leagues, then where?
- I will try to focus on my results in individual leagues. I have very good tvz and tvt now, but a big problems with tvp so I will focus also on it. My ESL failure didn't give me any kind of upset, I just saw that I have to change my tvp completely.

Having fun while playing is the most important he says

When asked about the WCG Ukraine Preliminaries he's not very enthusiastic either, and he blames it on the maps, saying they're not fun to play and that it'd be very hard for him to make himself play on them so we'll have to wait and see how things goes. The fun part is the most important thing.
- StarCraft is game and main reason to play all games is having fun.

WCG Seattle - "main contenders are me and White-Ra[...]"

We also asked who he'll think go to Seattle and play for Ukraine, and he wasn’t really sure about whom it'll be but he mentioned some players who might have a chance:
- I think main contenders are me and Ra from old users, Fraer and Dimaga from rising stars. Maybe also Topick if he practices hard.

Looking forward to see another bestseller from Blizzard

As an end of the interview we talked about the new rumours from Blizzard, about StarCraft 2. Strelok says he think that the timing is right to release it, we need some new blood, and we all know StarCraft is not as big as it used to be.
- SC2 will end the dominating of the players of today and we'll have new stars. And i think it's great. The selected time for SC2 releasing is also great. I only hope that the game will be one more bestseller from Blizzard, though I’m sure many people won't like it at first look.
