[s]clan_news[/s]

Wisdom Nerve Victory parts with their veteran human player, Zi Kai "CuiYi" Xu, who has joined GoldTel, a Chinese organization based in his own hometown. In an interview with Chao "ioq" Ma, the Gaming Director of wNv, we find out more about the wNv team and CuiYi's departure from the team.

In the interview by wangz of wNv-Gaming, Chao Ma, aka ioq lists all of the accomplishments that CuiYi had while representing wNv. Among them are the RTB and WC3L, but most prominent was a China qualifier dubbed the World University Games League (WUGL). With the advent of such a league a new term was also dubbed for players like CuiYi (picture), a "Uni Gamer".

iop goes on to explain that a Uni Gamer is a gamer who is studying in college or university while playing for professional clans or companies. There are remarkable eSport talents in colleges and universities, explains iop. Although the drawback of such a gamer are the responsibilities of being a college or university student. As can be imagined, they have very little time to train and therefore cannot join professional organizations or companies like normal progamers. However iop does mention that they will "soon have the chance" to work for top eSport teams in China, but does not go into anymore detail than that.

The focus of the interview then went back to the team's roster gap that was left by CuiYi. All that was said about recruiting new players was that wNv has planned for long-term development with the WarCraft squad, but this time instead of simply ending off with that iop tells us that that is all he can disclose at this time. With the sudden stop in that question the interview moved on to two other players, Sai and TH000. iop tells us of their current situation since moving to Beijing. They have been spending 8 hours a day to train and their lives have been going well within wNv.

The last question of the interview was aimed at the newly launched wNv English site, which wNv is very proud of. As with all newly launched websites though it still has some kinks to work out, but is without a doubt what iop calls an important step for wNv and the future development of Chinese eSports.
