MBC Hero defeats SKT1 - wins SKY ProLeague

Yesterday the two teams MBC Hero and SKT1 fought each other in the Grand Final of the SKY ProLeague. All seven matches had to be played but in the end the 16-year-old player Sea could secure the wins for MBC Hero.



SKY ProLeague consists of two seasons. The first season was won by SKT1, and the second was won recently by MBC Hero. To crown the final winner of the 2006's edition of the ProLeague, the two teams faced each other yesterday. And after seven games MBC Hero stood as the victor when Sea took down GoRush.

The 16-year-old Terran player Sea lost in the first game against Canata on Blitz, giving the former champions a lead with 1-0. Then the Protoss player Pusan took down the Golden Boy Midas, evening out the score to 1-1. Thezerg and 910[Ete] won the first 2on2 match, giving MBC Hero a lead 2-1. But Rainbow defeated Bisu and it was a tie again.

JulyZerg got his revenge yesterday after losing the WCG Grand Final to iloveoov.

The World Cyber Games champion iloveoov lost to the WCG runner-up JulyZerg on Arcadia. The sixth game ended in favour for SKT1, and the match was 3-3. Then the two teams were allowed to pick players who previously played in the match. SKT1 picked GoRush, while MBC Hero revived Sea, giving him another shot, this time against a Zerg player. The young Terran player showed no mercy and took down GoRush on Peaks of Baekdu.
