A new forum added to our list of forums. GG.net strives to listen and to provide an ever growing list of feature for the Starcraft community. To honor the strong Spanish speaking community that visits us we have decided to add a Starcraft speaking Spanish forum.
The Spanish speaking community is united in many aspects but when it comes to sharing a forum it is highly divided. Qp clan has gradually become a Peruvian and Mexican forum only. The Chilean community has a couple of very good forums but few from outside Chile ever visit them. The Spaniards too have a few of their forums, perhaps the oldest ones. All are lacking one thing, the precence of members from other Spanish speaking communities.
The forum moderation in all is very varied and sometimes biased. Some of them are being killed by their own webmaster with pop ups and spyware, in particular 3dgames from Argentina and QPclan.org. We can not really do much about this but we can offer everyone a place where national boundaries will not hold us apart, where pop ups will never appear and where you can except posters from many nations.
The dream of a common forum for all the Spanish speaking community has never truly been realized though it has been shared by many. We do not have high hopes that such a dream will take root here at GG.net let alone survive, but at least we have listened to the request of many of our Spanish speaking members for a Spanish speaking members.
Hopefully this will provide those who prefer their own language to voice their opinions, news and ideas a forum with reasonable and fair moderation. Feel free to leave your introduction post. We are also interested in a decent list of all the best Spanish speaking sites out there. Please feel free to add your own favorite site and maybe a small description.
