Lan-Z ChampionShip 2005 will be hosting both a Stacraft and a Warcraft3 Frozen Throne money tournament open to all players on October 28th and 30th in Chile.
The rather surprising cancellation of CPL World Tour* Stop in Germany is followed by another even more surprising event. Lan-Z Championship 2005 will host the last Stop of the CPL World Tour. Where?
Santiago, Chile! At the San Carlos de Apoquindo Convention Center, between October 28th and 30th (which is the same date as BlizzCon).
Of course you will see Counterstrike 1.6, but this time you will also see Warcraft3:Frozen Throne and Starcraft:Brood War. Lan-Z Championship 2005 will have other three official tournaments: Counter Strike 1.6, Warcraft3:Frozen Throne and Starcraft:Brood War. They apparently will have full coverage by TSN, with world wide broadcasting and by Lan-Z Radio. They will also hold a BYOC area for more than 500 people and corresponding events.
Apart from the obvious e-sport festival and the high quality gaming support the incentive will be total prize purse of 5000 US dollars for
Warcraft3 and low and behold, the same amount for Starcraft! The total prize
purse for the event will however be 70.000 US dollars, so there are some mean second and third prizes still left to go around.

The tournament is OPEN tournament. Everyone who want to take part of this could do it. We are organizing Qualy's in some countries with local partners, so they could send players to the event, but this I not the only way to participate. The other way is to come to Chile and participate! The concept is to make profesional tournaments, like the other CPL tournaments.
