Whistler wins the first installment of Gosu Weekly

On June 5th, the Norwegian player Whistler won the first episode of Gosu Weekly, taking down the German LML in the Grand Final. All this happened in front of the eyes of the audience watching the stream that was prepared.

The tournament started as planned, with 25 players participating. The stream was on and available for anyone to watch and listen, with Greth behind the microphone. The games that were played represented different levels, starting from trivial and funny skirmishes, and ending with serious and interesting clashes. After five and a half hours everything was over and Whistler won the title of Champion.

In the Grand Final, Whistler met LML. The players knew each other from the rD.BW Winner's Tournament that took place a little over two weeks ago. The games were very interesting, and the 3:2 score, probably the best result a viewer can imagine, speaks for itself.

The next episode of Gosu Weekly will take place next Sunday, June 12th. Organization and rules remain the same, and the map pool and other details will be released just before the tournament.
