The first major change that will be made is that the third F4F will be the first major tournament to adopt the brand new 6.55b mode. Some think this move may have been made too soon, before the mode had a chance to be properly tested, others embrace it as making for a more interesting tournament.
Here are the most important rule changes:
* The tourney map for all upcoming matches will be 6.55b. If there will be another update for bugfixes or critical errors we will possibly switch to that version.
* Admiral Proudmore, Windrunner and Invoker will be banned from all upcoming matches.
* The default mode for the upcoming matches will be Captains Mode (-cm).
* Manta Style will be limited to 1 per team.

Due to some of the teams that participated in the previous two tournaments have disbanded or merged, the empty slots will be filled with other teams, who will be invited by the administrators of F4F.
Also there will be a week's break before the start of the next tournament, to give the teams a chance to change their rosters and help the organisers make all the necessary adjustments.
Stay tuned for updates on the final of the current F4F, which is a repeat of the first, between MYM and Mouz. MYM won the first, but have just been beaten by Mouz in the Steelseries King of the Hill. The match takes place tomorrow and promises to be a good one!
