ESWC starts tomorrow!
The Electronic Sports World Cup Grand Final 2008 is set to take place in San Jose, California tomorrow, with hundreds of top gamers from all over the world in attendance.
This year is particularly exciting since for the first time ever, Defense of the Ancients will be played competitively at ESWC!
Top teams MYM, SK, EG, KS, TEG and many others will be taking the stage to compete for some of the highest prizes e-sports has to offer.
There was some disappointment however as many top teams from Russia (Rush3D, Ks.Int) and Asia (E-Home, XcN) were unable to participate due to various issues involving rejected visas, passport issues and roster changes.
Top European team Mouz will not be taking part either, due to them not participating in any of the qualifiers.
Still it promises to be a very exciting 3 days packed with some of the best DotA action found anywhere!
The results will be updated as they come through, stay tuned to find out all the exciting details!
