Pacific.Revitalize spoils iZONE's grand slam attempt

The Gigabyte Mineski Pro-Gaming League (GMPGL) resumed with the third leg of their fifth gaming season, sporting the relatively old but still locally famous WC3's Defense of the Ancients.

Joining the top six teams from last month were the branch championship standouts and first-timers in Olympians and Alcatraz. Pacific.Revitalize is the only undefeated team on the Group Stages. The toss-up group stage has been trending now, as no team was dominantly on top even on last month's GMGPL DotA - where everyone dropped a game. Two wins was all needed because of this, and back-to-back Champion iZONE.GIGABYTE and Hailey's Grounds from Group A and Noypi join Revitalize on the playoffs. The top two finishers from last month again faced each other on the Winner's Bracket Finals and the Championship, but it was last year's runner up taking the nod this time around. It was Pacific.Revitalize winning both match-ups, and not needing the one-game advantage that they earned earlier on. The squishy line-up of iZONE fell to the big nukes of Revitalize, with Magnus' Reverse Polarity and Queen of Pain's Sonic Wave leading the burst. iZONE is playing with apparently regular member Henry now, who was just deemed as a stand-in last month. Revitalize also stopped iZONE's streak, as the latter has won back-to-back GMPGLs and the first GEST of the year in succession.

MI.CDO finished on a joint 7th-8th this month, after finishing second on the first one and a joint 5th-6th on the last one. With that finish, they are demoted back into Class B. Joining them on their demotion is the team who got promoted a day prior, Alcatraz.
