GEST - Neolution, StarsBoba advance, 5 teams get detention

Six games per team happened to be not enough for all except one group on this first GEST IDC tournament day. StarsBoba in group D made the most out of their last match and were the first to secure a playoffs slot, followed by Neolution who defeated enCy and later Orange via tiebreaker. The final standings in group A and C will follow tomorrow when a total of five teams square off against each other for a third and last time.

Following tomorrow will be all games, that today could not handle. The three-way tie in group C will be resolved, as well as a new encounter between the emotional couple Mineski and Velocy.
The playoffs will then come up at 13:00 GMT +7, seeing StarBoba and Neolution in a new attempt to be one step faster than the others. You can find all replays so far, by visiting the link on the bottom of this page.

| MI lost the 2nd game against Velocy because of too much confidence. their picks was surprising (like they didnt use their brain) and the dual lane especially at the top was unusual as es is the hitter. it was purely for fun i would say but it is still unfinished business tom. they still have the tie breaker game. we'll see how it goes. i really hope 2 PH teams will move forward to the playoff tom. | Well, like some people said in this website, MI might win this tourney since they are still playing and practising Dota more than other teams. Orange, still a new team, and last tourney that they entered was Dota 2 Malaysia Invitational which they pawned MI like pubstomp. :) They are not overrated but just lack in practice. |

| I think orange and mym are bit focusing on dota2 for the international 2 so they lack practice in dota. Well then gl for the progressing teams. But to me, there are no team that show a massive perfomance in this cup, so most of teams in SEA are equal in quality. And for revitalize, if they are joining this cup, I don't think they can winning this cup because they don't know what other SEA teams thinking as they knew other philiphines teams. |
