GEST: Draw heavy second round, Orange almost through

The second round of GEST IDC saw five out of eight matches resulting in a draw. This development brings two eagerly awaited encounters between iZone and Trust in group C, respectively StarsBoba and G7 in group D. All four find themselves tied on first place and have to outdo their respective opponents in a direct duel in order to advance.

The first match to finish happened to be the broadcasted one between Mineski and Velocy in group A. The Filipinos made it look easy in the first game, utilizing a disable heavy lineup with a carrying Dragon Knight, to take Velocy's right to call 'gg' first. Having been left not very amused, Velocy were to turn the table in similar fashion, showing their qualities with aggressive play and achieved a not lesser celebrated draw.

In group B, Orange can prematurely call it a night with two wins and one draw, as Aeon will not attend their third match against them. The Singaporeans had no theoretical chance to advance after two rounds and chose to forfeit their remaining match similar to MYM in group D, who, after a family emergency, were and will not be seen in attendance at all today.

In group A, Invasion Red does still have a chance, by beating Mineski and hoping that Velocy will only draw versus iDeal. Neolution in group B is forced to win against enCy to tie the score with Orange. Groups C and D will see the battle for first place between iZone and Trust, respectively G7 and Starsboba, however both could also shape out to a three-way tie, if the right teams draw.
