The stage is set once again as teams battle it out in the ever grand and illustrious G-League Season 3. This season, the total prizepool has been increased from 180,000 RMB to a whopping 270,000 RMB, with majority of that money ($32,000) going to the eventual champions. The second season of the infamous G-League concluded with juggernaut team DK defeating WE three games to one and taking home $23,500. As usual, Season 3 qualifications will play out in various states with six teams advancing into an offline semi-finals. Then, playoffs will proceed to determine the two finalists with the grand finals held sometime next month. Season 3, however, brings a twist - two mystery teams will be invited to join the six qualified teams which means that there may be the possibility of international teams battling it out in G-League for the very first time. As of yet, news of participating teams have not been released but one thing is for sure - this season's prizepool will certainly attract the creme de la creme of Chinese DotA.
