Dream Cup was launched on 12th August and played its opening match with LGD and DtHf. The Chinese scene was soon hit with yet another flurry of transfers and departures and the tournament had to be suspended. Continuing with its second match today at 14:00 CET, the two teams playing will be DK and Tyloo. The winner walks away with 2,000 RMB ($310) in cash.
Earlier, we had announced (see earlier report) the eight professional teams invited to participate in the tournament. With the first match already played, we are now down to three. Should tournament rules still apply, the map used would be DotA 6.72c and in a best of three format. The third game, if any, will be played in -cmub (unban) mode.
