Mushi confirms new team, Orange.DotA

Malaysian star player Mushi has just announced his comeback to competitive DotA after announcing the formation of Orange.DotA earlier today.

orange.dota.pngIn an exclusive interview with Gosugamers, the Malaysian legend revealed that he will be heading a new team called Orange.DotA in an effort to re-establish an international powerhouse.

The team, which consists of veteran players WinteR, XtincT and Nicxh (of xLo.DotA fame) has recently signed a sponsorship deal with the Malaysian gaming organisation Orange E-Sports worth RM100,000 (~24,000 Euro).

Mushi also introduced fresh blood into the international scene by bringing in Clanton, a talented player already well known in the local circuit.

Now with solid backing from Orange E-Sports, Mushi's squad will be allocated a state-of-the-art training facility as well as financial support to assist them in their endeavours.

Prior to their return to competitive DotA, both Mushi and WinteR have been busy travelling across Malaysia and conducting DotA workshops which are aimed at "creating awareness and improving the standards of Malaysian DotA".

Press statement by Yee Fung "Mushi" Chai:
Orange Esports was planning to invest into the Malaysian electronic sports industry and we immediately seized the opportunity. As a team, we believe that Orange Esports is the best sponsor in Malaysia because it can provide us with the best to advance further.

We will be busily preparing for all the major tournaments that will be happening in a month’s time, including ESTC, MSI, SMM, WDC and ESWC (if we get an invite).

Aside from the newly acquired DotA team, Orange E-Sports is already sponsoring four other professional Malaysian teams representing four different disciplines – Counter Strike 1.6 (CS 1.6), Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (CoD:MW) , League of Legends (LoL) and Heroes of Newerth (HoN).
