Second edition of 'The International' to have just as big prizepool

With many of us still reeling from Gamescom 2011, news has already emerged about a possible sequel next year. The question on many of our minds, will the prizepool be yet another 1.6 million dollars, has been answered by the creator of DotA himself.

Erik Johnson, project manager first confirmed the possibility of yet another edition of "The International" next year in his interview with Dealspwn.com and now the man himself, the creator of DotA, IceFrog has confirmed that the prizepool will "be at least as big as the current prize pool" when responding to a fan query on playdota forums.

With Dota 2 set to take the e-sports world by storm, fans can look forward to more nail-biting, intense Dota 2 action in the near future, where teams will once again battle it out for the grand prize of one million dollars.
