DotaCast back with a tournament

The folks at DotaCast have decided to end their casting hiatus and re-enter the scene by hosting a North/South American tournament.

The DotaCast Open Tournament will feature a $500 prize pool (first place $350, and second place $150) and an open format that will allow any team within North and South America to sign up.

Teams interested in participating can sign up by sending an email to DotaCast.com@gmail.com containing their team rosters and contact information. The roster should consist of 5 starters and 3 bench players, and be written in the form of:

Starters: 1)x 2)x 3)x 4)x 5)x
Bench: 1)x 2)x 3)x


Depending on the success of the first run, DotaCast will be looking to make this a monthly tournament with possibly larger prize pools and expanded participation in the future.

Further rules and details regarding the tournament will be posted by DotaCast once the level of interest and number of participating teams have been adequately gauged and confirmed.

And any team from South America that needs to use our hostbot, you are more then welcome to ask, and me or Mandurang can host up to 8 games on our hostbot so no problemo! Once we get 16-32 teams we will close signups so gather your friends quickly now.

Trainwreck, what do you suggest we do then. Host is for euros? Are they in need atm? No. Were trying to revive North American dota, so stfu. seriously these divisions in dota are whats killing us. theres chinese lovers who say every other dota sucks, and haters in north america who quit on themselves and hop on euro bandwagon. people like you need to stfu and be happy that dota itself is being promoted.

We encourage as many teams as possible to sign up for the tournament. We hope for this to be part of a series, and we also hope to be able to hold the same tournament in Europe/Asia in the future (or even make it a global tournament like RGC, which has been very successful). We are starting out small, it's true, but there are plenty of skilled teams and players in the Americas for this to be a foundation to build on, as we hope to show the rest of the world.

#41 for your information southAmerican Teams made it to MYM prime 12 Groupstage such as Artyk, V-Inv and !Pain but OH I think I cannot see any SWEDEN teams themselves who made it to that point.
