Loveen talks about the Nirvana issue
Posted by Terrence "MrBlue" Wong 1 year ago
A while ago, it was let known to the world that the all-star team that formed Nirvana.Int had left the organization, citing unpaid salary issues. Today, Loveen and Mushi offered their statements on the issue.Statement from Chang "Loveen"Jun Sheng, owner of the Nirvana organazation:
-"Firstly, I would like to say my apologizes to the Fear, Demon, Azen and the rest of the Nirvana.int members. Due to some contradiction on my part as well as my own immaturity led to their unfair treatment.
I am not a person that likes to stand out and start accusing people or explain much. I strongly believe that no matter what a person says, there will a day when everything will be revealed. Too much explanation will only reveal things about the organization that should not be revealed which will only cause more trouble.
I have already settled their unpaid salary issues and I am grateful for all the effort they put into Nirvana.int. I wish them all the best in their new team.
On a side note, I have already started planning the world's first World DotA Championship which is due to be held in WuHan, China in November. I will be inviting four of the best teams from Europe to compete, with accommodation and food paid. I do not need to pledge the validity of my claims, every team from China and Asia can vouch for me. There will be $40,000 prize money up for grabs, all it takes is for you to try your luck at taking it home."

Statement from Chai "Mushi" Yee Fung, Captain for Nirvana.my
-"First of all, I would like this say hi to all the Nirvana.my fans out there. The reason I’m here is because I felt that I should stand out and clear Loveen’s name. There were no salary issues for Nirvana.my or even Nirvana.cn from the start until now. Sometimes, payment came late due to wire transfer problem from China. Loveen pays every single cent for our salary and also our LAN trips. Regarding the salary issues, Nirvana.int had things already sorted out between the team and Loveen.
It would be better if members of ex-Nirvana.int come out to clear Loveen’s name. For the WDC prize money, I can assure that he will be pay out every single cent to the winners. The money is there; do you have the ability to win it, that’s the main point."

#50 ahha,"no" why? Dunno the "truth"
we wanna have hookers too if we are to come!!! cmon man!! hookers for everyone
ducky... -.-
the only reason nirvana.cn/my are still getting paid is because they are good and .int were crap simple what is the point of wasting your money on a team that is useless
#47 +1
Ýurugen is getting his wish fulfilled, drama is pretty much inevitable after comments 50&54
#56 I agree, they are gay too, prolly childmolestors as well, wouldnt pay them... geez what a comment, suddenly every Chinese rises above all other and gives him self right to trashtalk any1. @Ducky gief goldz 4 drugz en hoez!
The money is there; do you have the ability to win it, that’s the main point." Wow~!
#56 Great arguments, really. Now go and watch ESWC replays pls. Also you think it's okay to just not pay a bad team even though you promised it? Btw as I said right away let the players confirm it before you believe those kind of statements and it seems that at least puppey is still waiting for his money.
sponsor 4 euro teams? money down the drain, use it to feed the poor u get way more publicity for this event that way 1 EURO TEAM IS WAY MORE THAN ENOUGH just get 3 random war teams in China to compensate
@ 59 nickey Suddenly whenever an idiot from a specific country talk, everyone in that country is stupid, amiright? way to be so ignorant as well.
Dudes are u serious? All he say is that he kicked nirvana.int coz troubles he dont wanna tell. Then he says he payed all what they needed to get? then mushi comes and say he pay them and nirvana.int players should show up to do tell it right. (where mushi can know that loveen paid for nv.int?) i ask a member of nirvana.int whos rly always interested in saying the truth. do u know if he dont just payed mushi for this comment? dudes this words are just words no facts!
I think Loveen's treatment of .MY and .CN was simply different from his treatment of .INT. There's no reason why Mushi wouldn't vouch for Loveen. He was paid on time. .INT players were not. The question, however, remains as to what the actual agreements were and how they were understood by both parties. It could simply be that Puppey and co. never actually signed contracts from Loveen's point of view. Therefore he was not responsible for paying them. But of course, Puppey and co. likely believed that they were under contract and so thought that Loveen was cheating them.
i think the whole nv.int thing became dodgy because their roster keep changing. i actually believe loveen and thinks that he is a good sponsor with good intentions. Is it possible that loveen only consider the original team ( merlini demon fear etc) as the one under him and thus the only players that he feel obliged to provide salary for. Maybe only these original players were under contract and that other players only join because Fear/Demon/Merlini asked them to but that Loveen did not say they were gonna be employed by him. Or maybe Loveen was angry at Puppey and Kuroky for quitting during the whole "Puppey accuses Demon of sucking up to Loveen" drama and knowing the Asians, doing things like airing dirty laundry in public is very very maligned upon. We can only speculate. Hopefully Dota World Cup is succesful though. Inviting 4 EU teams and providing their accomodation and food is very generous. ( travel is not included though right?)
loveen going a long way to make dota "professional" if you can call it such and gold digging teamhoppers like puppey come here and ruin his image/reputation. if i were loveen i would invest my money elsewhere for sure.
Puppey just said "No". I believe him. Hopefully this "World DotA Championship" will payout. It would be a huge step forward for the competitive DotA scene. Thanks for that anyways Loveen. But still clear things up with Puppey and crew.
more power loveen
Loveen sponsor me too I wanna make Nirvana.SG By the way , Does anyone know how much these players earn ?? :D
52 win
#50 Strong statement. Now I too am confused.
ppy the shit You destroyed so many teams
It's really troubling to see PPY to throw a "No." and leave the dota scene fans confused. Loveen has already given his side of the story, and I'll stick with his version until nv.int explain things. It's truly unfair to Loveen and the dota E-scene, where's the professionalism? And people like #74? Please shut up.
#75 +1.
Hope Demon/Fear or perhaps even Merlini make a statement in regards to this.
I would prefer DeMoN, Fear, and Azen to comment. I agree with #75. Puppey's a good player/captain, I'll give him that. But just saying "no" in post #50 is only an attempt to incite drama. As with what I said to Loveen, the same applies to Puppey - a bit more explanation would be the logical response.
this case is really something else... lungo: I WANT THE TRUTH! Loveen: YOU CANT HANDLE THE TRUTH
@ #45, ya i've been calling him 大哥 (big bro) much longer before people actually knew him he personally sponsored my DP Asia's Bot while it was alive..
@ #64, do u know if he dont just payed mushi for this comment? dudes this words are just words no facts! ya in that case, maybe some jealous people paid NV.int to badmouth Loveen?
@ #47, it would be beter if world cup is 4/5 day befor SMM or 3/4 day aftel SMM if they do that the euro team have 2 big lan tournament in less then 8 day so 2 chance to win the price money but X2 costs too i m sure the players would prefer at least a week's break so they can visit the country.. i m really regret for nt staying back after ESWC too..
I'm with ducky on this, no hookers, no tournament.
I hate what Asian kiddies do to English around here .... PS. zfchenzoo all you do is look more stupid with every statement.
I think Loveen shouldn't sponsor any international teams from this event henceforth. His generous financial support only incurs public backbiting. What an unfair world!
Ducky, there are hoockers at every hotel man... just go and ask at the reception ffs :D
#79 +
@85, another china fanboy supporting Loveen wholeheartedly? I'm not about to state which facts are true and what not, because the truth seems to be muddled at the moment. I'm not about to read too much into Loveen's statement, but I'm pretty sure he wrote "Acknowledged that unfair treatment was given to Nv.int", and therefore the so called "generous financial support" from you is in doubt. And while the world is unfair, it was not unfair of nv.int to question Loveen for several months of missing pay. Since Loveen stated he cleared Nv.int's salary, I'm going to trust him on his words until nv.int members disputes it otherwise with facts. You guys might want to stop trashing the dota players for a while -_-...
I have already settled their unpaid salary issues and I am grateful for all the effort they put into Nirvana.int. Ahaha XD There goes that statement down the toilet. I guess he still didnt pay puppey's ticket or smth like that or even more.No. Anyhow, i hope that Loveen's tour will be successful and I also hope they settle things between them. Then Nwo gets to China and kick their buts :) |
I don't think some people have read demon and fear's statements in the previous article. Demon and Fear were already paid every cent before this drama, and for those that wasn't paid this was supposed to be the fix.
I meant he has not payed anything. I have already accepted that he will not pay my ESWC ticket or my long months of salary - nothing new for me in dota. I will still keep playing on.
forget dem sponsor indian teams :D this way u can save money also lol ekekek
Interesting. The way i see it, it looks like Loveen obviously has the money(duh,Sponsoring Nv Cn,My,The world cup etc etc)but not paying a single player, Puppey (Acording to him) and making a statement that he has indeed cleared all the dues makes me feel that he thinks he doesnt owe Puppey any money.Because i dont think Loveen would have to think twice about paying a single players or the salaries of a couple of players If actually legitimately owed. This is confusing because Puppey did play for Nv Int in the ESWC and hence should have been paid.Or he feels that Puppey has already been paid all that was owed.We have to remember that both Ppy and Kky left for Teamhome bfore the ESWC and maybe Loveen regarded the contract as ended then. It is not clear if Ppy's the only one thats not been paid or some of the other members too. And as for the sponsorship on the whole i think he lost interest in sponsoring the team after Demon and Fear left.Even in the stattement he only refers to Demon Azen and Fear by name.Ofc all this is me speculating and could be totally bull.
Why would you sponsor a team when there is no certainty to live up to it? Even worse is when he announces he has the money for a next project without using that money to clear up the problems with Nv.int. Imo it's people like this that destroy the image of DotA. Either properly sponsor a team or do not promise anything at all, this is stupid. Committing for 50% is not an option imo. Additionally, do they not have binding contracts? Cause that would clear up a lot of this.
#50 stfu u just came back not so long before the team and sponsor seperated and demon hates u so loveen also does LOL
is #95 loveen with a fake id?
#91 Maybe becoz you dissed him and Demon. Sucks for you though.... Off topic: Might I ask where "Pro" EU Dota Players get enough money to play, go to LAN's, and still be able to eat 3 times a day if they're just depending on their Dota "salary" ? I'm just a wee bit curious. Do they have stable jobs, and take Dota as a "Part" time job? or is it the other way around? Where they take Part-time jobs to compensate for theid dota?
40k
#97 They play just as much as most other people, the only difference is that instead of going on an extra vacation, they go to a LAN. I mean, there are not an awful lot of LANs anyway so I don't think it's that big of a deal. Ofcourse they don't rely on the money they get for DotA, as it is more of an extra (I suppose) in EU than a reliable source. I actually think only about 50% of the low amount of money for prizes and sponsor payouts actually gets paid. It's just a hobby with some minimal extra's, not that hard to manage I'd say
Does Loveen know that ppy became a part of nv.int as a stand-in at ESWC? I want comments coming from Fear Azen and Demon. And mb this will be settled become worse. Let's see.
