No longer in Nirvana

In a statement given to GosuGamers, Nikola 'Azen' Belyakov announced that he and his ex-Nirvana.int teammates would no longer play for Loveen and the Nirvana organization.Azen claimed that he and his teammates are now parting ways with the sponsor due to months of unpaid salaries and an ESWC Paris ticket that is, to this day, still unpaid for.
The European (and Canadian) stars will continue to play together, and have added Swedish star Pelle 'Pajkatt' Olsson-Lille, though former team captain and long-time DotA veteran Clinton 'Fear' Loomis will no longer be part of the active roster.
The current roster:

Nikola 'Azen' Belyakov
Clement 'Puppey' Ivanov

| Another evidence of the lack of professionalism in DotA, and probably the parties involved wont bother to clarify the situation since it wont solve anything rather than feeding the trolls anyway. |

| Before u shit players whine about unpaid salaries. Think about this for a moment. Why should someone pay shit loads of money for u guys, when all you kids do is play games without giving back anything in return to the sponsors? Are you so called pro-gamers even helping a single bit to promote or benefit your sponsors? Are you even worth every penny they fork out? The answer is NO and sooner or later your sponsors will realize that its a complete waste of time and money to sponsor a gaming team |

| i think the problem isn't nirvana don't have the money, its just nirvana.int isn't worth spending the money on anymore, of course they are great players but they haven't even topped any big turnoment for a long time, If i spend money on a star team i expect results and nirvana,int isn't getting them anymore. Its natural the sponcer is more interested in nirvana.cn and nirvana.my. |

| Nr. 62 I work in the mediabusiness. And regardig commersial value of a top 3 team in europe its big. I guess the companies just dont know about it. For example, if Logitech och Icemat would sponsor (ex)Nirvana they would have a really good mediachannel to reach hardcore gamers. How many people downloads the replays? The really big matches has around 20 k dloads right? Thats people that really care for the game and really knows the team. There are plenty more Ks that just knows the clans name/tag. If a clan or player goes legendary like vigoss, hans22 or EHOME its a really good value. To all clans that seek sponsorship. I recommend you to call companies that work with products that reach out to Gamers. Call them and talk to their marketing director. Explain how many dloads the replays and how many that reads the articles where u are involved in. They will be interested in paying u for playing under their name. Best wishes S |

| im a big fan of the skilled kuro and the brilliant puppey and to be honest they haven't achieved anything lately..... so its sad to see loveen paying them without getting anything from them. i still don't know the reason behind though.... just some speculations |
