ADC group stages kicking off

The much anticipated group stage for ADC is kicking off this Monday! 20 teams from all around Asia will be battling for the coveted title of ADC10 champion.| Teams | |

There you have it, the 20 teams that will be battling all out to take home the ultimate grand prize of $1,600. In the group stages, every team will play against each other in a Best of 2 format. A win will net the team 3 points, a draw 1 point and a loss 0 points. At the end of the group stages, the 10 teams with the highest point will advance to the next stage.
With so many top teams in the mix, this year's ADC will definitely be full of action. Malaysian team, Aeon.MUFC will be playing to secure another tournament win after their dominance of the Malaysian scene in the first half of the year. StarsBoba will be doing their best to uphold their new sponsor's name, Gigabyte.
After some rather disappointing loses in various Grand Finals matches, LGD.sGty will need to prove that their win at SMM09 is not a fluke. Last year's ADC champions, Aeon.sg will be definitely have a hard time defending their title with so many strong competitors.
Who will reign supreme in all of Asia? Can Singapore defend their championship once again? Or will some other country take their crown? Only time will tell.
Update: East Asia has been removed from the participation list for not responding to admins, while team RR replaces Err0r from India.

| erm.. I agree with #30 and #39, how many games do LGD.sGty have to win before they prove that they deserved to win? LGD.sGty have absolutely dominated the dota scene for quite some time now (people didn't click the winner spoiler when they were playing) but now they go through a rough patch and suddenly their win at last years SMM is credited to luck? >_< |

| No Ehome no win for China. Just kidding. But I do think that other teams have a strong chance for two reasons: 1. LGD is in a restructuring period. Their performance as seen by the recent show match against CHN in China shows that while Sharingan Kunkka is as strong as ever, team chemistry as a whole has fallen. LGD will have to work hard to regain its form if they want to win ADC 2010. 2. Nirvana.cn is supposedly on vacation. How they are going to play in ADC 2010 is difficult to say. I guess the group stages will be online? We'll have to see. Anyways, gluck to all the teams and may the best team win. |

| #88 when did south east asia prove they are better than china? the only time they faced off in the past few month is eswc, acg, and mym prime. ehome raped aeon and nirvana.my and lgd raped sb, all of them the cream of the crop of south east asian teams. sure deity lost and there's no point arguing it otherwise but deity is not even a top chinese team. You should stop smoking crack if you are getting the delusion teams like lgd and nirvana.cn is not a level above the rest |

| well i cant give my faith to neither LGD OR NV.CN,personally, plz take a look at NV.CN's performance at the G league, WTF is that? And ,sure ,that was because they were on vacation, but still, could not believe that was a top chinese team's play. About lgd, it is really hard to predict what will happen to them, therefore, i dont think they will have any good performance during this ADC as well. In the end, Ehome is the only one stable chinese team to play outside of china. |

| #92: FTD/LGD rearly lose a game outside China, in fact they win all and didn't lose a single BO3 outside China after SMM09. When they faced the very top Asian teams like SB or Aeon (in PCGL etc) last year or this year, they didnt lose. That what called "stable" but I doulbt LGD can do anything without 2009. Just see their performance with 09 quiting, no team spirit at all said by 2009 himself. |
