The Epilogue of EHOME and LGD.sGty
Posted by Ulrich "KongoTime" Hanten 1 year ago

EHOME, who taught the European elites a lesson in Paris, just took a step further on achieving the same goal against their fellow countrymen. The Squad around KingJ, managed to take down LGD.sGty after 36 minutes.
The tactical conception of both lineups, turned out to be quite similar, as both teams put most of their emphasis on guaranteeing their carries have a stable laning phase. While LGD decided to go with a classical 2-1-2, running Carry plus Babysitter up top, EHOME chose a 1-1-3 and the safer Trilane to guard their Sniper at bottom. The result was a carefully played first phase. LGD's bottom heroes Windrunner and Oblivion left their Lane to AAA passive farm, while ZSMJ had an easy time against 357s solo Lion.

Six minutes into the game, the two solo mids plus the two carries picked up a substantial amount of gold and experience, leaving the other six back in oblivion.

The first team that decided to leave their lanes was LGD, by moving their bottom heroes towards mid, they secured themselves a Tier 1 tower along with an important kill on Storm Spirit. The downside of this maneuver however is allowed AAA to accumulate an insane amount of money at bottom lane. While LGD's main aim was to push towers, the Casters of EHOME defended, pushed back and kept the game open, until their carry was ready. With a finished Manta Style on the Dwarven Sniper after 15 minutes, plus X´s brilliant decision not to go for Guinsoos, Bloodstone or Linkenspere, but picking up a fast Black King Bar against LGD's massive nuke power, the Sentinel laid the foundation to advance early on.
Due to a flawless gameplay, an excellent coordination and better farming, EHOME turned every fight to their favor and showed that less popular heroes are also capable of achieving big victories. With a performance this strong, it is no doubt that we may have IEM's next champion in the making.

ROFL
all those teams are just so good that it can go either ways every time they play a tournament. that's really entertaining imo. nice read btw! :)
Kudos to EHOME beating a monster like LGD. I hope 2009 won't be getting too emotional and depressed because of this
#8 yea they r the best
let us see next time
good interview
Epic matches.... hope that this will happen again !
With a performance this strong, it is no doubt that we may have IEM's next champion in the making. Thats fairly stupid to say seeming ehome are in the finals now :D
free farm ftw ~~
Nice news spoiler ... Couldnt you just leave out the score from the main page = thx
This article doesn't explain why exactly this game will, and I quote, 'soon not be forgotten''. A single game doesn't exactly deserve a review. A well fought out series does. I personally thought the RR was enough. This is a review just for the sake of being a review. 5/10.
burning was just farming like no problem the early part leveling at 5 when YYF DR was still level 1. kudos to supports and gankers in this game. indeed X storm MVP.
the more important the match is, the higher probability EHOME wins.
stellar play by EHOME. superb execution. #24 its not everyday we have 2 monolithic titans clashing. the derring-do in choosing lesser known heroes like kardel and a tower-seiging venomancer is commendable at the very least. a place in finals was at stake ffs.

i just dont get it why lgd didnt send the cm to bot line ....a solo morph can rape lion on top..or they could even send windrunner solo againts lion and make a 3line with morph cm pugna.im 100%sure this 3line would be much more better then the ehome 3line with sniper in it....
Oh look EHOME won vs LGD 2nd time in any tournament EVER, where does "once again prove they are #1" come from? They lost best of series 0-2 in WCG 3 days earlier, and later lost in playoffs. But hey EU drone fanboys are trying to hype EHOME so it doesn't feel bad that only 3rd best team in China pissed through Europe's best like np. This tourney is garbage from the start, bo1 with such high caliber teams and making up rules as they go so Nv.cn is eliminated. Eu drones will ignore every single fact, I have already showed that EHOME is not as accomplished as LGD, might as well post show you that EHOME lost far too many times to them as well. SMM09 won by LGD, EHOME eliminated by LGD Alienware DotA League won by XFY, EHOME eliminated by CH (LGD wasn't playing) NVIDIA Games Festivals won by Deity, EHOME eliminated by CH U9 won by LGD, EHOME eliminated by Nv.cn G-LeagueIX won by LGD, EHOME eliminated by LGD G-League won by LGD 2nd time defending (most recent), EHOME eliminated by Nv.cn WCG Asia 2010 won by SB, EHOME eliminated by Nv.cn in qualifier. Deity represented China. ESWC won by EHOME. WCG2010 LGD vs Nv.cn for #1, EHOME #3. EHOME eliminated by LGD Intel Extreme Masters 2010 - no results yet, EHOME beat LGD in bo1 (yaay). Who won most tournaments? In the last 2 years? LGD.
ehome proves that they number 1#, best team in world (:
the fast BKB sealed the game against LGD.sGty
#30 +over 9000!!!
1.MYM 2.EHOME. 3.LGD.sGty
X played really game, but he made a little mistake at the beginning of the game which lead him to death, Blinking on the middle of 3 heroes and running out of mp. Great game indeed.

nice read, like the headline
nice analysis :)
imho MVP was venomancer! clearly at last same importance than storm cauz w/o veno lgd would have pushed through.
wasnt exactly... 1-1-3 more like 1-1-1 veno and wd roaming sniper was alone most game sniper and veno could push the other two lanes easily while lgd had to go in 5 to push 1 tower. if lgd had split up into anything (for example push with 4 and let morph farm) they would've gotten ganked by storm and lion
#42 +1 Storm was the most effective in clashes but in the silent phases, veno really caused them headaches with his wards.
Whoa! I almost forgot that chinese where referred as farmers. Just look at this game. Not bad for both teams and I won't call this rape. EHOME just had more synergy and was at right place at the right time.
| AAA Burning is so solid. Dont let him free farm for about 10min
|
Kinda funny how they only use ranged heroes. WP both, they put up a nice show.
Rape game, rr sure but..wont be forgotten? Tell me again, who was playing?
I don't get this EHOME praise. ToT beat them very convincingly in their group match the day before. I'm glad they meet again in the finals tomorrow. Good games guaranteed!
