GosuBets results for May, June, July and August

GosuGamers has not presented the results of the GosuBet seasons in a while. We apologize for that and so without further ado, here are the results for the past three months.

GosuBet May '10
The winners for our May season is as follows:
- Tuke for StarCraft,
- bat-ivo for DotA
- Pray for WarCraft 3.

In May we had two seasons: A regular season and a shortened season. The winners of the regular season had 300 points added to their profile, runner-ups 100 points, and third place finishers 50 points.

Now lets take a closer look at the respective sections shall we? In StarCraft, Tuke from Finland managed to grab the first place slot with 6733 minerals, with Kallimap trailing him with 5674 minerals, followed by Rockyada with 3469 minerals. A big gap between second and third place.

Over at the DotA section, Bat-ivo dominated the season with 26712 tangoes. GosuCrew's very own Jules_Winnfield came in second place with 15398 tangoes, and Psyke18 took third with 13373 tangoes.

In the WarCraft 3 section we had a very tight competition, with under 100 gold separating Pray and TheCongError. DiNGo was a distant third with just 2186 gold.

As with all betting seasons, the winners had an extra 300 points added to their profile, while runner-ups ups kYro, syndereN and brankobs received 100 points each. Third place finishers b2r_on1x, Schemo and qoou will get 50 points each. Due to a bug in our system, stats for StarCraft 2 were not saved and thus we are unable to provide the winners for StarCraft 2.

In the StarCraft section, Ludens proved once again that he has excellent knowledge of the competitive scene and placed first. Expect him to hold the crown for quite some time.

As for the DotA section, killz0ne managed to kill off all of the other bettors and stay on top with a score of 8053—a slight lead, but the DotA section went through a pretty dry spell for tournaments in May. Online-Kingdom's captain, syndereN, managed to get himself into second place, proving that he has what it takes to be the captain of a Pro DotA team.

Heading over to the WarCraft 3 section, hete_student bested everyone with a final score of 1633 leaving brankobs trailing behind by a little over 300 points, with qoou following closely, within 100 points of brankobs.

GosuBet June '10
The winners for our June season is as follows:
- smudge for StarCraft,
- b2jorja for DotA
- DkaY for WarCraft 3.
- Ta1geR for StarCraft 2.

As with all seasons, all winners had 300 points added to their account. Second place finishers received 100 and third received 50. The bug in the StarCraft 2 betting system has yet to be resolved, so we cannot show the winner of this season.

Ludens lost his GosuBetting crown in the StarCraft June season to smudge who had an impressive 18000 minerals. Runner-up assaf was just 3000 minerals behind smudge and oizzo trailed significantly with just 8228 minerals.

b2jorja managed to win the June season of DotA with more that 45000 tangoes in his purse, more than doubling what The_13ear was able to achieve. Finally, kasapina fell short by 1000 tangoes, placing third.

Over in the WarCraft 3 section, DkaY won with just under 7000 gold, while Elven_Star got exactly 5000 gold and fatekira 4371 gold.

In StarCraft 2, Ta1geR amassed 30964 minerals standing high above kallimap who had just 20750 minerals. AsatoR was only 2000 minerals behind kallimap, with 18331 minerals.

While we started our HoN betting system this month, the betting results were too low to get a good ranking, so it has been omitted for this month.

GosuBet July & August '10
The winners for our July & August season is as follows:
- tonghua for StarCraft,
- DvvvV for DotA
- bora for WarCraft 3.
- CatZ for StarCraft 2.
- fujiapples for HoN.

Here we have one of the longest season ever, that spanned two months due to the World Cup. As usual, first place bettors received 300 points, second place 100 points, and third place 50 points. So lets take a look at how each section turned out, shall we?

tonghua from the United States dominated the StarCraft bets with a nifty 155565 minerals. -iiivana- from Serbia with 10072 minerals was about 5000+ short to claim first place, while Artyk.Bishop trailed with just 5823 minerals.

Lets head on over to DotA, where, with his 15011 tangoes, DvvV dominated the scene for the whole of July and August. ZoKleK fell short with just 10339 tangoes, while b2jorja took third with just 7987 tangoes.

For WarCraft 3 we saw bora with 9067 gold claim the crown for July and August. Drug and Dacktadon took second and third place with 8179 and 5650 respectively.

In the StarCraft 2 section, we saw a much tighter competition, with the top three having a nearly identical mineral count. CatZ had 7800 with zpd closesly following with 7348 minerals. Happyfan missed the mark by just 122 minerals, with his 7226 minerals.

This season was rather special as we had the results for HoN as well. Fujiapple set the benchmark with 4176 totems, elll came in second with 3137 totems and GosuCrew's very own Darkkazul took third place with 1874 totems.
