After EHome's notorious performance at ESWC, EHome's manager 71 finally gives his views on the tournament. His interview, which can be found at replays.net, has been translated here for you (with bonedriven's help).

Hello,71. Congratulations to China for their first Championship at ESWC. What would you like to say at the moment?
-"I'm a little excited. When we first made to final, we were actually a little bit nervous. Anyway, we won most of the games quite easily."

MYM played well too in the tournament. Isn't it a pity that you didn't meet each other in the game?
-"I don't think it matters any more. We beat DTS and DTS beat MYM. After all, they didn't make it to the final. There's an interesting story I'd like to share though. When DTS started their game against MYM, 820 and I were standing behind their backs to enjoy the game. Then in the last pick round Maelk asked me which hero to pick. We said: "Go with Lion and Medusa."

If you were to use one word to describe the journey to France, what would it be?
-"I'd need to use a sentence. "Fight with honors for China!"

When will EHOME go back to China? I guess many fans are waiting for your triumph return.
-"The flight time is 8:50pm on 5th July (local time), so we'll arrive at Beijing at night time there. We'll be living again on 7th, as you will see us online then. :) "

In the winner bracket, second round, why did you choose to pick a gank strategy?
-"I don't think we did. When we analyzed their Banlist, what was on our minds was that we wouldn't give them a chance to push early. Other than that, we didn't care what they were gonna do. Perhaps it looked like we only ganked in the game, but it's not on purpose."

EHOME was the only team that had a coach in the match,and DC definetely had got a lot of attentions and approvals in the tournament. How much do you think he had contributed to your game? Do you have the confidence to win the champion without him?
-"Yes,we do. But we won't put it that way. DC is of great help to us. To have a coach in matches is the ultimate way to go in the development of professional DOTA games. Like counter strike games, at first teammates had been restricted to type to communicate, then voice was allowed as legal, as well as a coach standing by. This is one of those right steps ESWC has made. Other teams had their managers at their backs too, only I think ours was the best regarding game skills."

Now we see what DC contributed to your victory. Will you continue with his employment on more coming events?
-"I'm not sure as he has got his own full-time job. But if we are able to, we'd like him to stay with us."

Compared with SMM in 2008 and 2009, what do you think about the ESWC this year. Is that the foreign teams are on their way down or it's just Chinese teams are making strides?
-"I think it is the latter. In most games we played we had the upper hand, except when we played against TEG, as we did not know them well so we played at a slower pace. Our performance in that game was mediocre too."

What does KingJ's new ID EH.GIGABYTE>lJy mean?
-"You'd have to ask him. His name is Zhou Yang. Maybe it relates to his girlfriend?"

In DC's blog he said DTS had demanded that the referee ask him to leave. What happened?
-"It seemed that they did not like DC's presenting at our backs. But we did not break any rule there. The referee approved that each team could have one person at their teams' backs, so we had DC at ours. The referee was fair to everyone."

820 said he would retire after the tournament. Now we are eager to know if it still counts coz you have just won the ESWC champion.
-"I'm sure he still has the idea on his mind, but maybe it won't be that early. We would really like him to stay. Honestly, we can hardly find any replacement for his position in the team. I'm not saying his particular assisting role in the game but the general position in the team. The reason that our team has been a bug in LAN games is that we have many great players."
