A talk with a moody German

Many thought they had disbanded and many were surprised that this team was invited to ESWC. With new found sponsors and a new lineup, LAN, which is now known as EYES ON U is back and moods, the captain took sometime to do an interview with GosuGamers

So lets start this interview off! Could you start with an introduction of yourself?
-"Hi my name is Leon "moods" Wolff and I am a DotA player. I am the captain of German team Eyes on U formally known as LAN and currently preparing for ESWC."

OK, cool. So what about your team? Could you give an introduction of whose on team and their roles.
-"The lineup for EYES ON U will be Arya who would be on the carry role, along with hex0r, our next carry, Kev will be playing the gang role and Alex on the support role. I myself would be playing the feeder role. *smiles*"

That looks like a pretty decent lineup.
-"Well I am pretty satisfied with the lineup. I just feel somewhat sorry that Y0r1k could not come with us since we had a very good spirit."

With you being the captain, I assume you would be doing the picks. So any special strategies planned?
-"Well I am not quite sure if we gonna prepare any strategies. If u guys watched the F4F finals we could fail hard attempting to do that *laugh*. DotA has its premium heroes like it has in every version so at the moment and I am more studying our opponents drafting style than inventing any strategies"

Very interesting. I believe your the only team so far that seems to counter picking rather than inventing new strategies. So with that in mind, what are your thoughts on the teams attending?
-"I think the lineup is pretty strong. Nevertheless I am pretty surprised that they invited 2 German teams, probably they know its pretty cheap for Germans to come to Paris. Anyway with EHOME, AEON, blight, MUFC and DTS, being on the tournament we can expect some sick games."

True that! Since we are on the topic of teams, what are your thoughts on teams with stand in players? Would you think the teams with stand in would perform better if they had their full roster at ESWC?
-"Well I am not the one being able to evaluate their full potential. It all depends on how much they train, if they have a good spirit and good tactics."

So what do you think of the Asian teams in particular that are attending?
-"From what I have seen the EHOME guys are not bad DotA players *smiles*. People say that Asians will just dominate tournament and that DTS is the only team being able to beat them but I am not so sure about that. I think AEON and MUFC are beatable teams."

You said the EHOME guys are not bad DotA players. do you mean skill-wise? I am sure all the players at ESWC are not bad players too. care to elaborate not bad in what sense?
-"Well the games between LGD.sGty and EHOME were the most skilled games individually and tacticwise I have seen in a while. I think that just everyone of ehome is just playing almost flawless. I think it will take a perfect performance even from teams like DTS to beat them."

That is pretty true. In any case, which team are you personally rooting for?
-"Well I am putting all my effort and heart into my own team of course but if we gonna drop out the tournament I am cheering for the team that plays the best DotA. The best performance should win the tournament."

Nice dodge right there! *laughs*
-"I personally like DTS, if that helps you! *smiles*"

Alright alright. Its cool. So which teams do you feel have high chance of winning ESWC based on recent results?
-"Well, trying to be neutral I think finals will be DTS vs EHOME but that prediction might be miserably fail :D"

What about AEON? They have brought back iceiceice.
-"They have a rather strong lineup, true but they look a little confused, at least that is my impression. Don't flame me iceiceice fans."

Confuse in what way?
-"I just saw two replays and they did not convince me."

Interesting. Moving on, which team do you think will win ESWC?
-"Since u want that prediction so hard, I say EHOME will beat DTS. but we will beat EHOME like no problem so that would not happen *grins*."

Very nice! I want to see you guys beat EHOME like no problem!
-"Thank you dude, I will try to avoid feeding."

It is not that hard, just camp in base and you should be fine!
-"Let me tell you a little secret. Every game after 15 min I share hex0r control over my hero, it is better for the team."

*laughs* Jokes aside, which teams do you think could be darkhorses that may pull an upset or unexpected stunt that could take out a favorite?
-"We are the darkest of all horses. I think blight and MYM and OK can be surprising too"

Alright! One last question before your shoutouts. Do you think Vigoss is out there?
-"I think there is a little Vigoss in all of us."

Which part would that be?
-"Its in our wrist dude, its in our wrist."
