ESWC announces list of invited teams

The ESWC Organizing Committee has just announced the greatly awaited list with all of the invited team names, which lacked a preliminary phase in their countries.The battle for a spot in France was one of the most challenging in the DotA scenery, this year. The invited teams have all earned their spots through past achievements, maybe most of all AEONSPORTS (ESWC 2008 champion).
After almost three weeks of full anxiety, the list is finally available at the ESWC official website, and is brought to you by gosugamers.net.
Here's the list of invited teams:

Local Area Network Online Kingdom
Tribal Gaming International
The Elder Gods
CNB-GamingAlongside these teams, one only has to wait for the end of the preliminary phases, so the final list can be made. Except for France, China and Russia, whose champions - Tribal.Fr, eHOME and DTS - have already conquered first place, the other 3 preliminary phases are still in progress, them being Iran, Malaysia and Poland.
The teams also have to confirm their presence and present their travel justification before they can compete. The ESWC organization will also provide complimentary accommodation to all the participants.
Gosugamers.net wishes all the teams a great trip. Stay tuned for more updates regarding the other countries to be qualified.

| I read it somewhere that if a country holds a qualifier, then it means no invitation for that country. But too bad many powerhouse didn't get invited, for example Ks.LGD... |

| Its like what everyone else here may already be complaining about, but I honestly don't understand why 2 German teams were invited. Its not like China has 4 other teams that can wipe 90% of the competitive scene anyday, right Initially I thought that it was some sorta rule for certain countries to have a representative each but doesn't seem this way now does it? If so then honestly this list is stupid as hell, because teams like CNB, Elder Gods and Tribal.Int (no offense to any of the teams) shouldn't get a slot, simply because there are so many better teams out there from one common country. However I've heard that certain teams like KS.LGD won't be because of some other factors, even if they were invited. |
| well the sponsors are biased, they want european team to win and its not going to happen when lgd, ch, deity, etc ie chinese teams that should be invited because they rape any team up there other than ehome are invited. Seriously imagine igd and ehome in it together, unless they met in the group stage they are going to be 1st and 2nd |

| isnt it more realistic if the strong dota powerhouse like china, rusia, malaysia take more slot than others? look at how many real "pros" at those country. i mean how many pro team iran have compared to china, 1:50 or even 1:100? =D give TH, LGD, and others another chance to give us a real dota tournament |
| Many Asian teams lack sponsors to go to Paris. Logically they'd send more European teams since the venue is in Europe. Rooting for MUFC to win the Malaysian qualifier, Nv.my just doesn't seem good enough atm and still relying on Mushi to win matches. They wouldn't stand much of a chance there imo. This ESWC is still shaping up to be a good one though! Not being patriotic (I'm a neutral fan and like both Euro and Asian teams) but I feel that AEON/EHOME/DTS will take the gold. Very experienced teams on LAN as compared to most of the other teams, who rarely get a chance to play on LAN together. I believe this will play a huge factor in deciding the winner. Hoping for some unorthodox strategies too of course. |

| Know what? Mineski was invited here to represent PH, but then they refused due to the travel expense from PH to Paris...they calculated it and it reaches to 30,000 PH money for each person... BTW, GL to all the teams...and I wish Ehome would face DTS!...and let's see who's the best!... |

| anyway to those who mention that CN teams didnt get invited cause they didnt apply & not cause they had Qualifiers, think of this: why would they bother applying if at first it's mentioned that there wont be 2 teams from a country? (especially ones with Qualifier).. & sadly if LGD is invited they may need extra sponsor too since LGD couldnt sponsor KS too.. maybe sGty could sponsor them or some other Loveen  but sadly it wont happen |
| Seriously people. Think and read before you post. LGD.sGty wont get an invite because they have a qualifiers in China. So shut up already. Also for the Malaysian qualifiers. It will be played out this weekend. The qualifiers will be played in an invite format. Nine teams have been invited. So far. Two teams have rejected the invite. Kingsurf and Inc'Excello. |

| @97. Yeah. The declined. Ks and Inc declined. Silent Redemption which got an invite decide to give it to another team. The rest of the invited list are pretty low tiered teams. So its just Nirvana and MUFC going for the finals. |
