SearchNGF to be held in Shanghai

The first Nvidia Games Festival of 2010 is to be held in Shanghai and will comprise of Warcarft, Starcraft and DotA. This prestigious event will comprise of two different stages; online preliminaries followed by offline finals. As stated, the offline finals will be held in Shanghai, from 11th-12th April. All online preliminaries will be livecasted HERE every tuesday 19:00-22:00.
The teams participating in the online preliminaries are as follows:
Ehome CH Nirvana.cn Deity LGD(FTD)The match format will be best of one and it will be double elimination as there are only five teams. Three teams will then move forward to round two where they will battle for the sole spot in the offline finals against an invited international team. The winners will receive $3000 and the runners-up $1000.
With April fast approaching, all teams will be gearing up for what will prove to be an amazing tournament, but the question remains: who will be the invited international team?

| #5 I don't think that having the same sponsor is going to stop teams from trying to win against each other. Besides imo Nirvana.int is a better showcase of DotA talent outside of Asia. But popularity wise I agree that Loda has a bigger fanbase in China. I'll just hope the sponsors aren't Loda fanbois:D |

| Agree with #26 It doesn't worth for Nirvana.int nor for DDT or any other teams from Europe/USA to arrive to Shanghai only for $3,000, even worse if they take 2 or 3 places 1000$ can't even pay for their ticket price. GL to everyone on that tournament, I'm very close to Shanghai, really hope to reach it while this tournament will be held. |

So many of you just have obvious flaws of character and I do not know where all the hate is coming from... I think it's time for dotaplayers to stop giving lessons and start handing out those hugs dray was talking about because you sure do need them :) 1: I for one would love nirvana.int to go to china for this event, I think they are a really good team and I like several of their players, actually I don't know when I said anything bad about them or if I even did. 2: Why would a team not be able to train and become better? Because the reasoning behind your words are that DDT can not go because we lost hard the last time we went to China? I wouldn't have time to go, but if any euro/us team went it's a good thing no matter the result |
since the international team can directly get through to the final, I hope the event organizer invite an asian team. dont let european team stain this high level pro tournament like DDT did in ADL.  |

| #30 i agree that netolic(USA) and DDT(denmark+sweden) did lower the level of play in the tournament, if kingsurf and starsboba played instead of them, ADL woulda been 100x better. on the other hand, 1 european team only coming to the tournament would be good, as they will not be able to take 1 tower in any game in the tournament, it will definitely create more excuses from their alleged fans and hence more tragedy in the everyday lives of these fanbois. |

| Ddt is better than old fnatic but they yet lose hard if they go to china. At the moment, nirvana is the best team from europe so they should go, they will lost anyway but would have a performance better than other european teams. |

| You guys should always check twice what youre posting because Loda is apparently reading! Behave yourself! And the int team is obviously Nirvana, if they want this to look serious. Or parhaps MYM but I doubt it. |

Its an special tournament also during that time, nVidia will release their new GeForce Graphics card showed at CIBET 2010. GF4000 serries cards. nVidia is not a poor company lol. Thats the reason why they only invite TOP DOTA CLANS in china and 1 TOP CLAN international. the 1kUSD i think is already a pocket money for international team. It should be, cause if their just inviting other asian team, well they wont be representing "international" in that sense. And im pretty sure, nVidia and other organizer are aware of this.. EU & US > ASIAN or ASIAN > EU & US dota... Inviting another ASIAN to represent International team is just BS.. |
