Many of you guys will know that DotAPride Asia is now inactive. However, TekniqZ and SuppyCu have made a new DotA League called AEDL : Asia Elite DotA League. This is a great alternative for the now inactive DotA Pride Asia. Due to DotA Pride Asia's hostbot issues, TeKniqZ and MCiTY^Suppy have decided to have an alternative for the inactive DP Asia by creating a new high level DotA League. The league will indeed have prizes, but TeKniqZ suggests that the prizes will not be matter because the competition between big teams will attract players anyway.
AEDL will be inviting all the players from DotAPride Asia including cD, Ct, Aeon, Ks.My, Ftz.Asia, fishnet and many more. They have also invited big players such as MYM and Nirvana.int.
TekniqZ also talked about the the issues with lag, stating that there will be relatively minimal lag within Asia as they currently have good hostbots, but unfortunately there will be lag between international teams. They are working hard to find a U.S hostbot and will get that up and running soon.
The professional league is planned to start by the 15th of March. Note that this league will only invite those teams that are well known internationally or nationally in the DotA scene for now. However, there will be a separate Amateur League that will be established later on, so please do keep an eye out for upcoming announcements.

| Why is it an asian league if there are teams from EU/US/Asia/Australia? Sounds kinda international to me |

| why is mym and nirvana invited and ddt not? i doubt maelk, mania and pusher will play there. i have never seen them being very active in any league tbh |

| cant belive its that hard to get some asian hostbots and cause of that a leage has to shut down, such a shame perhaps incompetence of the leage admins?. there are dozen of them in us/europe. mb invite more euro pro teams so we ll see 5 euros vs 5 asians and get some streamers or upload replays at least ;p |

| Now now danny I don't think that's fair on how you're judging tekniqz, most of the stuff he said is true. He is a ggc admin, he's moderator in oceania so I think that still counts. Any how on the topic of the league tekniqz and have discussed that we will only be vouching a few euro teams because as you know this is an asian league. |

| @#44, i dont see a link there until u mention it as i m not familiar with this site & i dont hover my mouse over every names/words-.- i was explaining the HostBot issue where some1 says that the league failed for not having a hostbot, isnt that supportive? to be an imposter & bragging using some1's name dont seems weird? how often u see some1 using another person's name to glorify the person? afaik ppl brag for themselves== anyway i will read the PM after tis post & go to bed.. good nite |
