The Blight.int steam train rolls forward

Blight.int managed to out-play their opponents, MCiTY, in two relatively short games, winning Farm 4 Fame 2.3.

Both games consisted of great team play from both sides, as well as the usual individual skill expected from these top class players. JohhnyUtah fans will be pleased to see his debut for MCiTY, even though it didn't go in their favour. These finals also saw the addition of heroes such as Windrunner and Stealth Assassin.

The first game was the more exciting and evenly matched of the two. Early game was very close, with Slardar getting his Treads/Blink in 15 minutes and ganging various Sentinel players, not allowing them farm in comfort. Both teams exchanged kills, with Puppey's roaming Seer giving Scourge much grief.

Some very good Shackleshots by Windrunner saw many team battles go in the favour of Blight.int, as it allowed Admiral to get off his Ship/Torrent combo effectively. Admiral went with a very unusual item build, getting Vanguard and Lothars. At the end of the day the better farmed team won, with Windrunner having Sheep/Blademail at 30 minutes. With LoA also having Blademail, Death Prophet was no hassle for the Sentinel team.

Now, this game is what most people would consider rape. Blight.int took a risk in having Rikimaru solo against Tinker Mid, but due to some calculated and well executed gangs by Tide and Enigma, Riki was allowed to farm and Tinker was forced to tower hug. The negative armour provided by Tide and Vengeful allowed Rikimaru to tear through the Sentinel's fragile team. Medusa was basically left out of the game, choosing to stay and farm top in case their domination went pear shaped. By 13 minutes Riki had Treads/Diffusal and the Sentinel were overrun. This game ended in under 30 minutes and sealed the win for Blight.int.

With this recent win, Blight.int stand head to head with MYM in the F4F standings, both of nine points. This competition may turn out to be an out race between these two powerhouses.
