SearchTeam Smackdown: New Game & New Team for LodA

LodA ventures farther away from DotAAn announcement made by ButtonBashers.com last Saturday declared the addition of HON into their gaming list.
They further revealed that LodA along with his newly formed HON team Team Smackdown will be representing them.
Loda is currently busy competing in the HoN League: Check-Six Sidewinder Tournament together with the best teams of the United States and Europe. They had played their first match at Wednesday 11 January.
The team will firstly attend LANs in Europe and grow towards International events. The first event they are preparing for is the Multiplay iSeries 39 in April, with £1,000 at stack (£2,500 for 48 teams & £5,000 if 96 teams sign up).

| #24 I thought the same thing when I read about this... His last team was named "The Last Try" and now Fnatic.DotA disbands leaving them without sponsorship again.... I just wanted to believe this wasn't his last try. But hey this doesn't mean he left DotA, maybe just trying some new stuff and then he comes back. |

| HoN is a game for kids. Only kids who played dota for a short time can get fooled with shiny graphics, shitty balance, stacked orb effects, bugs each version (tidehunter pulling enemy team from rax into fountain, wd stunning magic immune targets and catapults...), crappy new heroes, shitty rating system. I thought people get some friends after they play dota for 4-5 years, so they either leave it totally, or continue having fun in leagues/cws with their friends. I don't see the goal of this. You think that a 30$ shiny new game will fix the problems u found in DotA? No It won't, go waste 2 months and come back realizing what's better, no point in discussing it |
| I am disappointed tbh, but well, it's really his decision and he has earned our respect quite some time ago already. Thx for all the good games Loda, "if" that is something permanent, hope to see you back again one day. But that does not change anything about HoN being a copy and doing some VERY questionable stuff when it comes to competitiveness, but that discussion has no place here. |

| Everybody should have freedom of choice. It is imature to mock his decision. Hi's not stupid, everybody sane knows dota>hon(at least at the moment), so he's gotta have a strong reason to switch. Anyways, good luck Loda. :) |

| this #42 is so funnnnnnny true but HON got x99 competitive than dota HON got few BIG advantage such as - Playing vs asians / aussies / US with ZERO delay - Rejoining game after DC which makes it so perfect... Got many bad things but I didn't play HON too much. Only thing I hate in HON is game speed, too fast IMO. i still think dota>hon thought Blizzard doesn't give a shit about wc3 that's why they dont improve pings, make updates and do things to make the game better, that's why in the future, when pro gamers will get tired of DC / Lags problems, they will all move to HON which wil obviously outtake wc3/dota in these specs. might play now! LOL :> |

| HoN is way better than dota, and heres why: 1) No delay. 2) Lots of new heroes 3) People constantly working on balance. [game is pretty balanced right now.] 4) There is MONEY in the game. 5) Tournaments for everyone to join with nice prizes. 6) Soon a Matchmaking system to find scrims with. Just sit and wait and they find you one. Nice, huh? 7) Graphics and gameplay are honestly better than dota. For all of you guys dissing HoN, try playing it for a week or so, you won't be able to go back. I just watch replays here occasionally now, HoN rules! |
