TR|Tensa: "I think this team is the strongest in Eastern Europe"

Following their recent success at OSPL Lan tournament in Kazakhstan, GosuGamers representative Sn4k3y caught up with TR's star blowyourbrain and their team manager Dimitry aka TR|Tensa.


Hey guys, well for starters why don't you introduce yourselves to our readers?

blowyourbrain: Hello, my name is Vladislav and I play for team The Retry with plzgogame, drag13, smile aka ARS-ART, Amsi and swedic.

TR|Tensa: Hi, my name is Dimitry and I am the manager of this team. I am currently studying at moscow state university on the journalist faculty.


That is indeed a nice lineup, what can you tell us about your teammates? What are the specific roles in-game and also tell us a bit about their personalities in real life.

plzgogame - captain of our team, "any hero, any line", IRL he's funny guy, he jokes all the time!

ARS-ART - plays heroes like ES, POTM, Bane, CM. He's always serious but very communicative :)

drag13 - plays in pair with smile on heroes like Puck, Tide, SK. Also he can play carry heroes. In life his style "always drunk" :D

Aidar - played on carry heroes at the championship. He's very nice guy, I want to meet him one more time and he was like the #1, but sadly he is not continuing playing with us.


Share your Experience about OSPL Autumn '09 at Kazakhstan, what do you make of your whole experience?

blowyourbrain: Well, Kazakhstan as a country appeared as a very friendly and amazing territory. The cyber clubs in Kazakhstan can't be compared with Russian clubs, they are 3 times better. Also i liked the city, the capital of Kazakhstan, its very beautiful. And yes, the tidehunter is the king after this event.


You guys have enjoyed a lot of success in the 6.62b version, what do you think about the version, how good is it and what problems do you see in it?

blowyourbrain: I think its good, but not excellent. It has some problems.. hood/pipe, imbalanced new heroes(batrider and tc), hero buy-back - in long games it will be big troubles with carry hero with 458679567954 gold for buy-back


So from OSPL, which was the most challenging game for your team?

blowyourbrain: I think its was the our first game in group, versus OSPL. They played very nice, at one point in the game i thought that we can lose it.


Here at GosuGamers there was a very positive reaction by the fans towards how well your team used heroes such as LOA on support and let's not forget Clockwork. What is your secret to this awesome way of playing these heroes?

blowyourbrain: I am very pleased with all comments that my fans have left on forums. What about my game... I can only advise to practice, practice and practice. And to listen the captain for sure [smiles].


Now that's a lot of Cash there 10k USD, and If I am not wrong you got 2000 USD. What are you planning to do with it?

blowyourbrain: Well I will return 500 dollars to my parents and on 1500 i will buy a good computer - a notebook for education.


OSPL had some awesome prizes and there is another Tournament ahead of us in Malaysia, SMM '09, What do you think about this tournament and will you guys be attending it?

TR|TENSA: I think it's a question for me so i will answer it. Yeah we want to go there, if we get a sponsor. We got some offers but we need to choose the best to appear on SMM. This will be the lan with the strongest Asian teams. We consider the Asian Dota as the equal or even stronger than European. So this lan is our prime target at the moment, we want to try ourself and ofcourse to win it.


Can we know what offers you currently have and which is the most likely choice?

TR|TENSA: Well at the moment it is a secret but we will reveal it soon. I think this team is the strongest team in Eastern-Europe and one of the strongest in the world. It is still not as stable as i want but with time this will be fixed too. This truly is a TEAM as all players really believe in the captain (PGG) and there is good chemistry between players inside the game as well as outside.

I know everyone personally except of course the Ukrainian players but that will hopefully change on asus (LAN in Moscow). Everyone is concentrated on winning and that is what really binds this team together.

Blowyourbrain: I wish to all my fans to play like I play or even better and not to forget about real life [smiles]! I also want to transmit a 'hi' to my friend eexa!
