Aidar interview - Part 2

Aidar is one of the BEST players, but not many people know about him, and now it's time to change that.

Aidar is one of the few, if not the only professional DotA player from Kazakhstan, outside of DotA he is an avid fan of walking with friends, movies, music, motor carting, Futsal, and girls of course^^. Currently he is at a University studying in informatics and math. Also his current favorite game outside of DotA is Counter-Strike.

When did you first start playing DotA? Can you remember a funny event/story?

Kazakhstan Aidar: I started playing from 5.5x version, about 5 years ago. Main problem, was that no one played DotA in my town, and I was playing on LAN usually.

Back when I started playing, there wasn't any guide on how to make a new item, it just showed the name of the item, but no guide, so I tried many combos :). I got raped from Drow and Lina my first game :). They were 2 friends from Russia that taught us how to play DotA :). Two months later I raped them :)

What's your favorite non-competitive hero? Like a hero you would never pick in a serious game.

Kazakhstan Aidar: URSA WARRIOR!

Who's your favorite competitive hero/heroes?

Kazakhstan Aidar: Tinker, Puck, Kunkka

What's your opinion on your team? Your play-style, how you guys work together, Misery and Loda's pro flaming skills etc.

Kazakhstan Aidar: Fnatic team is one of the best for sure, so I'm glad to play with them. Imo we have a really good, balanced, play-style of all 5 players, flaming, but pro (c) Loda

How much longer will you see yourself playing competitive DotA? If you do stop, what will be your reason/s?

Kazakhstan Aidar: Seems as if I will play one more year, then will stop. The reason will be real life -.-. DotA takes too much time. So I play 1 game per day atm.

If you know your going to be in an upcoming tournament, do you play more often? Like the tournament in Germany that's coming up.

Kazakhstan Aidar: I'll not go to Germany for some reasons, but I'll go to OSPL Autumn in September for sure.

What are you hoping for in map version 6.62? Do you want the metagame to stay the way it is? Do you hope anything stays the way it is?

Kazakhstan Aidar: I think there's a need to balance new heroes, but I like this .61 version of DotA. Not too many heroes that can't be picked in competitive.

When did you first start to watch/get into competitive? Did you have a favorite player? How did you get started in Competitive?

Kazakhstan Aidar: I started playing on Garena 3.5 years ago, my friend was good at dota news, competitive news etc, so he told me a lot of things that I didn't know. One day I played 1 game 3v3 with snzvenom and get-lost in ( legendary say_plz), I did good, then venom wanted me to support in IHCS2. So I joined there in 2 months or so, because I was lazy with registering on sites, vouch requests etc:). In 1 month, I was vouched in IHCS1. My first top team was SGC, and one of the favorites to play in for sure:)

Who first got you into DotA? Your friends played it and you wanted to do the same? Played wc3 and randomley decided to join a DotA game?

Kazakhstan Aidar: Russian guests came to my town and introduced us to Dota, before DotA I played wc3 and counter-strike.

What do you hope to accomplish before you quit DotA and move more towards work, getting a family, etc.?

Kazakhstan Aidar: I'm playing just for fun, I don't have any goals to accomplish^^

Give a brief description, in your opinion, on your teammates. :D

Kazakhstan Aidar: Kwom: He is calm, serious and has strong leadership qualities, besides that he can provide you with support at any time. He is funny... NOT!

Loda: He can be over indulged, caprisios, but he is definently a great player. He is also funny... NOT!

Misery: Naughty, naughty, but a gifted player!

Kebap: Good sense of humour, 24/7 happy, I can't think of anything else, except - "German".

Haha, well thanks for your time and the interview :).

Kazakhstan Aidar: :D Thanks to you too.
