If you remember from our previous news post about WCG Asian Championships, there were only 14 teams that were invited to this event and it is because of this weird number that there are only three teams in Group C and D. The group stage matches will all be played on July 4th with Groups A and B playing their matches at 10am - 4pm (GMT +8) and Groups C and D at 4pm - 10pm (GMT +8).

After the Group Stage is finished, the top two teams from EACH group will move onto the Single Elimination Tournament. You can click here for the pre-determined placing match-ups. The Single Elimination Tournament commences on July 5th at 10am (GMT +8) with the Finals to determine the winner of the tournament to be held at 4pm (GMT +8) of that same day.

Once WCG Asia announces the winners from each country we will have those for you as well. But for now they seem to be waiting with the rest of us.

UPDATE
Most of the teams that have qualified for this tournament have been released by WCG. The qualifying teams for each country have been added into the updated table above.

**Australia has yet to have their qualifiers due to some problems, but a team should be determined by this wednesday.

***Singapore has decided to have their qualifiers on July 3rd, the day before the DotA tournament starts. So we will have to wait and see who will be representing them. However, we do have a list of the Singaporean teams that will be competing for the right to represent Singapore:
SingaporeGWSG|Axis.RSC
SingaporeTeam Little
SingaporexEquality
SingaporeTeam AltarEgo
SingaporeBlueFeather
SingaporefAzeTheMusic.CGC
SingaporeEternity.XTC
SingaporeKs.sg

****cD has been refused visas so eHome or Ks.cn will be representing China instead. This has also yet to be determined. UPDATE!! All of cD's players have gotten a hold of visas. cD will be representing China.

*No information yet

^Apparently some rumors have gone around that India's organizers are just bringing their friends and/or family to play as a team against Asia's best. If anyone can confirm this, please do so.
