GEST June begins without Pacific 2
The June edition of GEST IDC is about to begin. Eight teams from all over SEA has gathered in their local LAN cafe to participate in this monthly event.
6.78 brings huge changes to DotA
IceFrog has released a new version of DotA, 6.78. With new heroes and balance changes to existing heroes and items, it is one of the longest changelogs we have seen in a while. It is not known yet when the changes will be ported over to Dota 2.
GosuGamers - recent changes
GosuGamers got a face lift last week and since then we've already made some changes. The site will keep improving and adding features, keep track of the changes by reading the change log.
GEST IDC May begins
Eight teams spanning four countries have assembled for GEST IDC May as the tournament kicks-off at 07:00 CEST. The livestream of the tournament will be provided by two channels of CyberGames Network TV.

GosuGamers.net will be experiencing some downtime starting 06:00 CEST on Thursday, the 16th of May 2013, and in accordance to Blizzard/Valve's tradition we will be back 'when it's done'.
$8,000 for DotA and Dota 2 in EvoLeague
EvoLeague will begin in May with $8,000 in DotA and Dota 2 to giveaway in the LAN finals in Kiev. RoX.KIS has confirmed their participation so far with more teams expected to accept the invite soon.

Olympians first into the grand final
Only four teams remain in GEST IDC with Olympians making their way to the grand final. Olympians took down iDeal, Pacific Revitalize and iZone which are the three currently remaining in the loser bracket.
GEST IDC April kicks off today
GEST IDC April will begin today without the participation of last edition's runner-up, MiTH-Trust. The games will begin at 07:00 CEST and will run till the bracket is played out in its entirety.

SMM national qualifiers up to 18 this year
SMM increased the total of their national qualifiers to 18 in comparison to 10 last year. Qualified teams may stand a chance to win free flight tickets to the Philippines to compete in SGNDT this year.

SMM: DK vs. iG
Two of the most arguably powerful Chinese teams meet in the SMM Playoffs. With Burning behind a Lycanthrope and Zhou playing a Necrolyte, we have two of the most famously talented carry players fighting it out. To spice up the mix, we have Pandaren Brewmaster and Gondar on iG while DK picks... wait for it... an unprecedented Chaos Knight.

In our first article on statistics, we presented an analysis of ESWC Dota 2 tournament. This time, we're looking at the SMM playoffs. Despite all the technical problems, SMM allowed us to watch some really good matches. We'll see what's trending and what's not, this time with a complete hero pool.
DK vs. WE
The Chinese powerhouse DK throws down against WE. DK has been streaking through the championships recently, leaving a burning trail of victories in their wake. WE, however, is no pushover, and have taken on a set of high-tier teams, coming away with victories. With Obsidian Destroyer, Invoker and Dark Seer fighting it out against Weaver, Puck and Windrunner, this looks like it could be a high-intensity game!
WCG Asian Championship 2011 - Playoffs Spotlight
The double-DotA event of WCG Asia made it's way to the playoffs. Teams from twelve different countries have made their way to Indonesian capital-city Jakarta and have got to participate in both a DotA as well as a Dota 2 tournament of equal structure.

.exe and uE are fighting to decide who'll join MUFC at the ROCCAT GosuCup #4 Grand Finals. And both teams are a treat to watch because they're always surprising us with uncommon picks like Pandaren Brewmaster and Lifestealer.

Malaysia and Germany are now set against each other as the pressure rises. On the one side we have PANZER, a selection of German players known for their gutsy, crazy play and solid mid-game domination.

ESTC 2011 Grand Final spotlight
It is the end of the road for the four most persistant teams of ESTC 2011. Tomorrow, on Sunday the 9th of October, MUFC and MiTH.Trust will blow the clarions of war for the first time in the third place decider, followed by the grand final between the surpassing Orange.eSports and Neolution. Split up in unequal amounts, converted $10,000 will change hands tomorrow; close to $6,000 go to the winner. The following two squads hold on to the chance of becoming the 2011 Electronic Sports Thailand Championship winner.

DotA Report - September
A hectic month in terms of competitions, but fortunately a quiet month in terms of transfers. Chinese competitions came thick and fast, whilst major European competitions, as well as GosuGamers very own GosuCup, entered theirs final stages.
