I got my hands on the Diablo 3 beta today. And of cause I got really excited about finally getting the chance to play this game. I have been playing Diablo 2 and World of Warcraft and I love this type of games. So I really had high expectations on the game when I installed it. There has been much talk about that Diablo 3 will require a really good computer, But I'm on my MacBook Pro with 4gb ram and a 256 mb graphic card and it worked out good. Some spikes from time to time but nothing that was destroying my experience. I decided to roll a Demon Hunter as my first character. And I can say that I don't get the real feeling of the character by just playing the beta. When I killed the first boss; The Skeleton King I was level 8. And that is basically the end of the beta. There is not that much good experience farming abilities in the beta. As Act 1 is very similar to Act 1 in Diablo 2. But some things that I really like with the game is that you can sell your items when you are on the field playing. So you will never have your inventory full. This mainly effect the start of the game when you save up on every item you get to have money for repairs and items. And it also seems that your gold will be shared by all your characters. This will make it easier to start a new character. I'll keep on updating this blog when I found out more cool things to tell you all! | ||||||||||||||||||

| After the showgame between TLO and NaDa today there is no doubt that Blizzard need to add support for LAN in the game. NaDa lost connection in the middle of the game and the game had to be replayed. I'm sitting and looking on the stream of the IEM showgame between TLO and NaDa on Gamescon, where NaDa started to lag and in the end actually ended up disconnecting from the game and the the game had to be replayed. This make both me and everyone out there thinking why didn't Blizzard add the LAN support from the beginning. Yes maybe it stop many of the people that download the game and hack it (Even if from day one there was a hacked copy out just the day after the release). But when you see something like this in a big tournament or showgame you wonder if it's worth it. In the game between IdrA and SarenS there where a lot of lag as well. Would be very harsh if someone disconnected from that game when it's a game in a big tournament and if someone has an advantage and so on.. Would be a mess! I think it's time for Blizzard to implement the LAN support in the next patch or maybe at latest in the Heart of the Swarm expansion that will be release "soon". It wont be possible to host big tournaments with a lot of cash in them since it would be imposible to guarantee a lag free gaming environment fo the players. What is your thoughts about adding LAN to StarCraft 2?

| ![]() Good morning everyone, I’m leaving for Cologne this morning where I will meet up with Raistlin, Enron and MarCoon for the WarCraft Invitational There will also be a StarCraft 2 showmatch between MaDFroG and TLO. Patrik ”Luin” Hellstrand just came by my place and left his hd camera so you could expect a lot of great material from the event. Hopfully also some interviews with the StarCraft 2 players as well! Is there anything you want us to do during the event or is there anything about the players/teams that you want to know, just write a comment here and I will see what I can do to make it happened. And back to the games, I believe that Grubby will take the first place in the WarCraft 3 tournament even if i root for my teammate ThorZaIN of cause! In the World of WarCraft tournament I’m not that sure what team that will win, I just hope for some great games that we could report back to you all! For the TLO vs MaDFroG game, I think that TLO will win both games quite easily. TLO is ridiculously good at the moment and I don’t think MaDFroG has what it takes. Even if I as a Sweed I hope that it will be at least 1-1 here. /Jimmie "poGDI" Österberg

| Yesterday was the first real day with StarCraft 2 for me. Me and Delykat (Crew member of GosuGamers.net and a member of team BW-) went to my place and and sat down for 6 hours with only StarCraft 2 and coffee! You can read an the interview I'd love to face David Kim and try my roach rush] with Delykat here at GosuGamers.net. ![]() We decided that we should play every second game and it ended up with about 30 games played with random of cause, where we faced known played like Squall, HayprO and Kara. The best thing to be two players play games together is that it's so much easier to discuss strategies and come up with new once if you can bounce ideas on whats the best strategies against what the opponent does in a game. And of cause the best is to tease the other player when he get owned! (Which not happened that much :P) Anyway back to the game that we call StarCraft 2! The feeling that I got is that those old strategies like 2-3 gate zealot rush vs Zerg and 12 pool into expansion is still very doable. The tank push is hard to break if you do it well... The Brood war feeling is still there! But there is a lot of other new strategies that you can play with the new units mixed with the old. Things like pushing down your supply deports in the ground when you have made a wall and want to go out without lifting your command center is also a nice feature that will be great to have! Uproot your "spores" and "sunkens" can be useful if you manage to put them in the wrong place in the heat of the moment when you have 12 mutas in your main! The things that I want in the game when it is released is a public chat where you can meet up for clan wars or just discuss games like in StarCraft and WarCraft. And I also want the opporunity to watch replays with my friends online (As far as I know you can't do this now. I could not find it anyway.) I can say that I like this game a lot and I will for sure play this game more then I played StarCraft and that was a lot! I'll do some more posts later on! Until that enjoy this replay between Delykat and mTw.Kara. But remember this is only game day 1 and no one is perfect! http://www.gosugamers.net/temp/Delykat_vs_Kara.SC2Replay Thanks Jimmie (For those that have the beta add me pogdi.pogdi for some games!)
